Pretty Pony Pageant September Show Class List ∴ Realistic Classes ∴ Dressage Color of the Rainbow Turn Out Dapper Dapples
⚜ ∴ Theme Classes ∴ 🍁 Autumn Ride 🍂 Of A Feather 🦆 The Dressage, Color of the Rainbow, Turn Out and Dapper Dapples classes will be judged by an anonymous judges panel! (remember, if you are chosen for this show's judges panel - you cannot enter a horse in these classes) Dressage Where the Precision, Dedication, Elegance, and Perfection of Horse & Rider are Tested as they Dance from A to C Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ A Bridle ‣ A Dressage -OR- Baroque Saddle Background Requirements: ‣ Dressage Court or Arena Background Trotting down the centerline, you halt at X and salute the judge. Wait, what comes next? Deep breath and it all comes rushing back to you. You pick up the working trot and circle at A. An extended trot across the diagonal. You transition to the canter and perform the shallow serpentine down the long side. The free walk comes next and you repeat the test in the opposite direction. You find yourself back at X saluting the judge and give your horse a big pat on the neck for a job well done. Color of the Rainbow Dress up your horse in One or All of the Available HEE Colors!
Black, Brown, Coral, Dark Green, Gold, Grey, Magenta, Maroon, Mint, Navy, Olive, Orange, Pink, Plum, Purple, Red, Royal Blue, Sky Blue, White, and Yellow Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult - OR- Foal Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ At least Two (2) Color Matching Items (Or all 20 available colors) Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Color of the Rainbow Theme » Must use either One Color or All of the Colors! Whether you have a Favorite Color (or your horse does!) or one that you think looks great with your pony - dress them up and show them off! But what to do when you can't pick just one? Pick them all! Go all out in Rainbow Style! Turn Out Let your horse stretch their legs out in the paddock or pasture! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult -OR- Foal Horse/Pony Tack Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Tack item Excludes items from the 'Extras' Section Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor Item Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Turn Out Theme Daily turn out is one of the best things for a horse - living as closely to their natural lifestyle while also meeting the demands of domestication. Some horses like to go out with friends and others spend the time grazing by themselves. Some like to frolic in the fields and some are stuck looking longingly over the fence while they're stuck in the dry lot. Dapper Dapples The signs of good nutrition, good grooming, or some genetic phenomenon - a horse with dapples surely turns heads! Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony ‣ MUST have Dapples! Natural or Grain Fed Tack Requirements: ‣ At least Two (2) Tack Items Excludes items from the 'Extras' Section Background Requirements: ‣ Background relating to your Dapper Dapples Theme Those beautiful spots across a horse's coat that show lighter and darker versions of the overall color. Sometimes they are round and near perfect across the horse's body and sometimes they are star shaped or appearing scattered. Let's see your gorgeous horse or pony strutting their pattern out on the show ring floor! - - - • You may use as many items as you want! • Get Creative! Many tack and decor items can be used multiple ways! • It is highly encouraged to be creative and think outside the box - you don't have to use traditional tack always, as long as it can be reasoned, it will be accepted. • It is not required to be extravagant - if you only have an item or two, go for it! There's nothing better than riding down the trail with the fall colors swirling around you. The air is crisp but the sun is still shining. Remember to wear your safety orange. Entry Must Include: ‣ Adult Horse/Pony Decor Requirements: ‣ A Saddle or Bareback Pad ‣ A Breastplate or Martingale Decor Requirements: ‣ At least One (1) Decor item Background Requirements: ‣ Trail Background - no Arena or Stall! You made it through the woods and into the apple orchard. Giant juicy fruit hangs ripe for the picking - as you reach to snag an apple off the branch, your horse reaches up for one too! The afternoon sun warms your cheeks while the cool breeze stirs up the dying leaves. Fortunately, you're decked out in a warm flannel and bright orange.
