| Myth, I suspect something spooked her and scared her off. I never, ever went near her nest. Didn't mow, didn't show my face out back, nothing. And there WERE signs of life in the eggs when I candled them, so her incubation was going at least okay... I suspect the cats chased her off but never caught her. |

| Bird, I hope so! I'm super heartbroken about the bluebirds. I've seen a male and a female wren and it's around nesting season for them, so there's a good chance. :) |

| Myth, Mama bluebird abandoned her nest... Just randomly, out of the blue. I thought one of the outdoor cats next door got her! Thankfully not, but they DID attack a cardinal in my yard. I couldn't get him to rehab fast enough. :( |

| versa I get what you mean.. pinecone's sister passed away when she was just a month old. we dont know why, but we knew we should've noticed something earlier to help. what happened to the bluebirds? |
