@Uriah, an AED does tell you if you should administer a shock or not, but the question was just poorly worded and despite talking to him he won't change it.
Maybe they should've reworded the question to "when to apply AED" VS "when to use AED"? AEDs' tell you if the heart is shockable anyways wouldn't it? Maybe it's better to just know those things anyways I don't know
The question was, "When do you use an AED" and I selected when someone's heart as stopped. The correct answer was actually when the heart is in Ventricular Tachycardia or Ventricular fibrillation. You can't even tell if the heart has those things without a monitor!
