Yeah I have delt with abscesses before on other animals/pets so I know what to look for. When I found it I made sure to do a thorough check on it and the rest of him. I also have been watching it to make sure it doesn't grow, or I will take him to the vet

My friend is a GSD breeder and every dog shes produced except one had no health issues until 8-9 years old :) she did every genetic and health test possible

Alright :) a lot of people think its a fatty tumor when they come in the clinic I study at and it ends up being an abscess

No but I know for a fact it is a fatty tumor. He has tiny ones in other places and I know what the difference is if it were an abscess. That was also over a month ago and it is still there and hasn't changed size.

He has one fatty growth on his cheek/neck that is about the size of a pingpong ball and it literally showed up over night. I gave him a bath the day before I noticed it so I know it wasn't there

If yall go on the AKC website yall can fine ethical breeders and they do all the health testing needed for the breeds :) It prevents the dogs having breed prone health issues

My boy has epilepsy (which beagles are prone to) and a bunch of allergies to the point I feed him a completely raw diet plus allergy meds every day
