So, I don't usually complain about the file size needing to be under 100k, but it's been really bothering me lately. It hadn't been that much of an issue, but for the past two weeks, everything I make looks like crap after I take the file size down. How do you all do yours? I use PS and have been using the Save For Web option, and while I had been having to take it down to only 77 or so, I now have to go all the way to 62. UGH help, please?

I use save for web but I haven't really had any trouble unless the image has a wide range of brighter colors. So since most of mine are darker colors within a smaller range, quality is usually around 85 or so.

Maybe that's it. I've been adding more color to my latest pieces. >.<

Well don't do that :P
It might help anyway. Splashes of the same color scheme are usually not a problem I don't think. But like a whole bg full of color is gonna be an issue. Edited at April 9, 2018 03:09 PM by Coldwater Meadows

Hmm ok. I will pay more attention to that then. Thank you!
