Hey all! I am looking into get some art critique, pricing answers and a question about resizing. I'd love hearing from all of the artists on here! :D Question 1. Ok, so I DON'T use Gimp or Photoshop, I use Ibis Paint X, so if you use the aforementioned 2, you don't have to answer this ^-^
-What are your guys techniques on resizing and compressing to get the best quality out of your art? I've been having some trouble, no matter what I do :/ I'd love to know how you all do it! Question 2. Critique and any advice on how to better my art?
-I want y'all to really and truly tear them apart! Be Honest Please!!! Tell me what needs improvement and what I am doing a good job at so I can work it into my art :3 Question 3. Based on the examples below, what do you think my art is worth?
-These are currently the prices in my shop, but I am considering revamping it. Yes, I know they are low, but I want to make them affordable for everyone on here I'd still love to hear your thoughts on what you think it could go for ^-^ Horse Avatar- 25k Stable/Club Set- 15k Thank you everyone <333

I create the image as 500x500 or use the preset 1:1
For the 500x500 art, I save the image as PNG, then use a compression site, usually compesspng or tinypng
For the 1:1 art, I save the finished picture, the create a new 500x500 image and insert the art, size it down, save as PNG, and then proceed to compress with the above sites

So PNG actually saves as a lower byte than JPG? I did not know that o.O Thank you!

This is incorrect. You should always save as a JPG. Png saves WAY higher byte wise. All my horse avatars have to be saved as a jpg in order to not lose an incredible amount of quality when compressing to HEE specs. Stable sets i save as PNGs.

Oh also I use ibis paint as well and the soft dip pen brush works great with the stabilizer level on 10 for manes and tails
