As there seems to be some confusion, rules have been moved over here from here: https://horseeden.com/forums.php?f=15&t=78
Feel free to PM a moderator if there are any issues.
1. No private bids or anonymous bids of any kind.
2. Buy now amounts must be posted at the start of an auction so that all potential bidders have the same opportunity to offer the buy now amount.
3. If you set an end time, the auction must end at that time. You can use the forum time stamp to see who had the last bid before the end.
4. Bids made with anything other than EBs (horses, straws, art, etc.) need to be assigned a value in EBs so that other bidders can counter. This value should be based on realistic pricing and should be determined by the seller.
5. Only bid if you can honor the bid. Once you have made a bid, you are obligated to carry through with it. If you intend on making payments, only bid an amount that you can pay off in a reasonable amount of time. Be sure to ask the seller if s/he will allow payments.
6. Members may not bid for other members.

no i think the SA would need to make the bid because each account needs to be played on its own

You are able to set one price for a piece instead of an SB and AB.

I believe you may bid for an SA as long as ebs will be sent from the account the piece is being bought for. For example if I bid from my account Vellum Elites on a piece and said (50k for Fluorescent Fields) and won then I would send the ebs from Fluorescent Fields since that is where the piece would be used.

What if no one bids on it, then can we continue it and set a new end date?

No. Number 2 clarified that AB amounts have to be posted at the start of the auction so all bidders have an equal chance of the buy now option :)

Ah, thanks again, I wasn't 100% as I had seen people do it in the past (possibly before a rule change).
