So in Florida we have a grocery store called Publix. And in Publix we have a thing called Pubsubs, which is like Subway but better. So usually I go grocery shopping and then drag my cart over and wait in line for a sub, which I did today. While I was in line I was on my phone, not looking around, and when I did look up I found a man leaning over my cart examining the stuff I had inside. He saw me looking and jumped back and immediately goes "sorry, I'm trying to go on a diet, and since you're skinny I wanted to see what you eat." Like first off, who the fuck does that? Who SAYS that? You don't know me or my medical history or why I was buying the food I'm buying! And then hovering over my cart like that was just WEIRD, regardless of his intentions. I kinda just stared at him and turned away and left. Eating's hard for me as it is and people saying anything about my diet always puts me off for a few days, so now I have a bunch of soup and bread and zero desire to eat it. Also, I never got my sub :(

That sounds odd to me. He could be telling the truth, but my gut says he was checking your basket out to swipe something. But since I wasn't there and didn't see the encounter I'll give the guy the benifit of the doubt here. Just please try to be more aware of your surroundings when out in public, even if it's just in the grocery store.

Oh my gosh it makes me so darn just uncomfortable when people talk about what I eat/how/why I eat it. Like, even my close friends though they know not to, but, it just really bothers me. And, I know I'm kinda skinny and probably need to eat better/more, but like, that's a me thing, not for you to judge ya know!? Man, this really hit a nerve lol
