So I was having a nice shower before I had to leave for work, and then I get a text message from my boyfriend saying that he let our cat roll and eat some of my sleepy time tea that has chamomile in it. He is a very good cat parent but he doesn't exactly know what cats should and shouldn't be doing. Apparently he was making himself some tea when our cat jumped up on the counter and grabbed the bag and knocked it on the floor. So my boyfriend just let her roll on it and apparently she ate a bit of it. It's a tea bag and I'm not sure how much she exactly ate but. Should I be concerned or planning to bring her to the vet? I'm on my way to work now but I just don't know what I'm supposed to do I looked online and it said as long as they don't eat it in large amounts of over a period of time it should be fine.. but how much is too much ?? And I definitely don't want to take her to the vet if Idon't need to but I definitely am worried Edited at December 7, 2023 08:43 AM by Eagle Creek Stables

Chamomile is poisonous to dogs, cats, and horses. I'd take her to the vet.

It's always super scary when an animal gets into something it should not have. I would give the vet a call to see if they are worried about it. If they are, they will have you bring her in. Good luck, hope she's alright!
