So I've seen this image floating around when researching Akhal-Tekes. The captions say that it's a 'silver buckskin'. Silver buckskins do exist, as I found, but look nothing like the picture. Perhaps it's just the Akhal-Teke's natural 'shine', but the image looks too good to be true, and the color isn't directly listed on the breed website. Any horse experts know if this is a possible coat color in Akhal-Tekes, or if it's just photoshop? Edited at October 21, 2018 11:28 PM by Kuewi KNN Stable

I would say this a younger grey horse that hasn't gone white yet..but it also looks a bit grullo. Would be really neat to know what color or if it is actually real!

It's actually none of the above. It's a photoshopped picture of a bay. There are manipulations of it floating around in black and appaloosa as well.

Huh. That was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm glad it got solved. Thanks Anglachel.

Yep, PS. You can tell on the grey 'cause most grey horses won't have a dark/all dark tail.
