If a quest is to breed a White foal - does the splash white count? In searching I'm on page 2 and there aren't any plain "white" horses listed

I had already made a topic on this last month, but I think I need to explain a bit more.
I have a pinto that is attracted to stains, but the urine stains are what's killing me. His stockings look more yellow than white.

The deal is I don't put him in a stall, or show him. I don't need him sparkling but I just want him to look white.
I've tried
-Ivory bar soap
-Suave shampoo
-A mixture of water, baking soda, and vinegar
-Baking soda and vinegar, but I didn't leave it on him for more than 5 seconds because I got scared that it do something to him.
-Tomorrow I will be trying blue dawn
It's driving me nuts have a pinto that has legs that look like a palomino.
Anything that works a reasonable price please leave down below.

I feel your pain. I used to ride a pinto, and I had to use the same problem xD

Here is what my trainer taught me to do, which worked very well and didn't break the bank:

You can either wash him, and instead of whatever shampoos you use, soak Dawn Dish Soap in water and scrub the spots with that. Scrub it hard enough that it comes out, but not hard enough to make him uncomfortable. Always scrub after it sits on the horse's body for 2-3 minutes. It worked on my trainer's paint, and her legs were bright yellow!

We also tried a cheap product called Cowboy Magic Yellow Out. It works very well. Again, rinse, apply, let sit for 4-5 minutes this time, and then scrub and rinse. Scrub gently, for it will already be imbedded in the skin and fur.

I hope this helps:)

When I leased a pony and showed him, ages and ages ago (hah!), I used QuickSilver on him. And this guy loved rolling in red clay. and that stuff stains like mad. I bathed him in the QuickSilver (I don't remember the instructions) and he sparkled!

I have a paint stallion.
In general, he actually stays pretty white, even being on pasture 24/7 thought the bottom of his tail does get a little yellow/orangey.

You need the purple or blue shampoo made specifically for white/grey horses. Honestly, nothing works better.

I ride a couple of paints and used to own a grey and white gelding, and I feel your pain. I don't know if you have time to do this, but what I do (in the Summer) is hose them off almost every day. At first I will use shampoo and a brush, but I have found that if I keep up with it, that is not necessary every time. Just the hosing everyday keeps them sparkling. :) I hope this helps! Also, you probably know this, but if you scrub the part where color meets whites, the contrast will show up even bolder. :)

Any kind of shampoo for people with grey/platinum hair will work. I've ridden a grey paint before, and hated it. Put the shampoo on by hand, work it in and leave it sit for 5 mins. It won't hurt him, trust me. Rinse out with a strong sprayer, and your palomino just became white again!

I know what you are talking about. I've never used one, but I assume it would work fine. I always just use a regular brush. :)
