Game has a bunch of goals you can choose from. What are yours?
Do you breed for color? Ratings? Show wins? I'm just curious as I'm new so I'm not quite sure what decent goals to have would be. Please feel free to share in the comments. (:

I breed for mainly ratings, but I'm going to work on ratings and build up some badass color stock on the side, and then I'll cross the 2 so that I can get some badass colorful quality stock!

Color isn't heavily sought for, but I started out with that and it was pretty fun, actually! I'd steer clear of it unless it's a side project and you've got AD/SD horses since it won't earn you very much money. I did it from game year 117 to 134, and I rarely had more than 40k lmao I like SD horses, they're fun and easier in my opinion than AD since you only worry about one rating and three training traits.

I breed for ratings as the money is there. Its easier to fund your next matches when you have a great income. :) I dont seek color out (in addition to ratings) but it's always nice to have a colorful ratings horse.

I breed bravery and AD Thoroughbreds. For my bravery, I have just general bravery. Then I also have an apricot color bravery project, and a tobiano color bravery project. Same thing for AD, I have my general AD mares and then I have champagne and tobiano projects.

AD- all disciplines. Horses that train in dressage, jumpers, and cross country. SD- single discipline. Horses that only train in dressage, or jumpers, or cross country. Hope that clears it up! :)

I'm a strict color and ratings breeder who focuses on TB, WB, X, and AA's (on this account, at least), with the occasional PON for good luck. Ratings are where the money is at, but color and ratings is the real bigshot, from what I've experienced at least ;)
