Though. It has been fun seeing family heirlooms, and teaching them how to play with and feed my birds since I'm busy packing. They've loved taking them to explore around the house, and watching them chase ping-pong balls across the counter

All of my family who has passed, passed from cancer and it's been genetic per the doctors. So my end should be great

But that means I've been helping her pack, too, so I'm sore all over and just wanting to nap on most days. LOL. Getting time for things like my art is going to be a task for the next couple of weeks. I hope people will understand

Heck, the C word in general is scary. Cancer is scary. My mother is recovering from breast cancer (it's clear, just a surgery) so we've had a rough year and a half. Running away to our house on the lake sounds massively enticing lol

@Versa, of course. Cancer is a terrible thing that really ravages families in addition to your body.

The doctor said if he had to choose a cancer, he'd go with prostate, and I think that was comforting to my father, knowing how good the outlook usually is. But of course, the percentage chance of it not working, no matter how slight, can still be very daunting and scary

@Versa, I have heard the outlook for prostate cancer is vert good. Fingers crossed he is able to rest and get back on the horse per se.

He's on hormone medication to starve it out so it can't grow, since it feeds on it. That's what makes him so tired. Beyond that, the radiation is successfully killing the stuff that's already present

Late stage prostate, though contained

We've all done it. That moment where you know you've hecked up just as you click the button, but it's too late to stop, so you frantically spam the "stop" button on the browser. Unfortunately, the damage is done.

This is not for incidents involving other players. This is for your own personal fuck ups.

---

Several years ago, before we had the ability to unassign riders via barns, I was reassigning my riders. Unfortunately, I was half asleep and assigned riders to all my horses. This included about 100 mares who were level 10s and only used as breeding stock and probably 600 FR fodder horses in my pastures.

I spent the next few days cleaning everything up.

I think we all had those moments.

Just this year I ended up training my best futurity stock AD for a week. I'd just hit the button when I'd realised it. So there goes my investment...my best gelding is now #10 XC, I don't want to image where he'd been without me messing up....

I used to accidentally delete peoples blog posts too often for some reason. And chat posts when I was on mobile, damn sausage fingers.

Just recently, though, I so confidently in chat answered a question about banners saying that "They are for free stables only!" despite meaning to say that they were for PREMIUM stables only. Chat was not pleased. How embarrassing xD

Fun fact: I am a complete fucking imbecile.

I forgot that there's mass FR and branding buttons and spent a few hours branding and setting free hundreds and hundreds of horses with my absolutely horrible internet speed. It took FOREVER and I felt like the biggest dumbass in the world when I remembered the buttons a couple days later. I could have done something useful in all that time I wasted...

I just bought an expensive straw for a maiden brood on a wild capture EWE mare (my first really good capture ever) and proceeded to fat finger the mouse and breed her to an EEP, not the WWW I bought the straw from.

I gelded an EEE colt before knowing how he would train up. I'm now kicking myself in the ass because he is strong where my mares are weak, so he could have potentially helped strengthen my herd when he was old enough to breed.

The amount of times I accidentally use the wrong horse or forget the item is fucking depressing.
