Hi, I'm relatively new to the game and have a basic understanding of how it works. I'm having a hard time though with auctions. I've spent a good few months building up my income to try and get a World class mare. I understand that auctions go until the 000 time mark, and on multiple occasions have lost auctions because of the 000 time mark. But the most recent auction was the worst. I had two mares at the auction end both under 10 years old, when at that 000 mark another came in and won the bid. Now I wouldn't be frustrated, except the winner then turned around and put the horses up for sale for over 100,000 dollars each. I could have won them for 40,000 each which to me was amazing. What was really frustrating was there was another free account who was bidding alongside me, and we both lost out on our chances. For a rather new player this is very disheartening. I was a sucker and ended up paying the higher amount for the one I really wanted, but it isn't fair in my opinion that the game makes it this difficult for newer players to attain world class horses of breeding age. No matter the situation you go bankrupt trying to attain those world class mares.
I'm not on here to gripe about fairness issues, as it is a game and unfortunately you can't get away from greedy people. I also understand that making money is the object of the game. What I am looking for is any tips on how to out scalp the scalpers? I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of responses alluding to the fact I'm whining, but this happens a lot and I'm just looking for any advice on getting world class mares of breeding age.
I appreciate any advice, and for anyone that has taken the time to read through my opinion, I thank you.

You can also look for WC mares for sale undern search < horses. I personally don't bid in a ton of auctions, and use the search more often. You can also show some geldings to get more money.

The auction actually runs until a minute after it says it ends. So you have to keep bidding until it doesn't let you bid anymore.
