Isla slammed her locker and walked towards the next class. Her best friend Kate walked beside her, "I knew it wasn't gonna last with that nerd" Isla sighed at the thought of her previous relationship with the highschool basketball star, Keith. Kate continued, "You never know, the next guy might just be right around the corner" Isla ignored the comment and placed her books on the table before sitting down ready for the class. Isla watched a tall and rather nice looking young man entered the room, -How come I've never noticed him before- she said to herself, "Thats Leim" Kate whispered to Isla, "Becareful I know many of girls who have their eye on him" Isla stared at her friend, "I have no interest in pursing yet another relationship" she sighed and added quietly, "But he sure is something"

Leim and his duddy was walking down the hall going to class they had to go their separate ways he walked into class as normal seeing girls fan girl over him he was never interested in them though none of those girls were his type he walked to his seat and sit down and crossed his arms

Isla closed her book, slipped her pen into her folder, and walked towards her locker, she grabbed her phone and slipped into the line waiting for the canteen. Ordering a soda and a small fries she found a table filled with some of her friends and began eating. No sooner had she opened her soda when Barry, the kid no one wanted to be friends with, entered the room. He went straight to Isla with a rose in hand, "Would you go to prom with me?" he said in a high pitched voice. Isla paused and glanced around, all eye's were on them now, "Uhhh...I'm sorry but no.." she replied very quietly. He walked away his head hanging low, Kate giggled, "Hah what a freak thinking he has any chance with you" Isla grunted, "There's nothing wrong with him, he's no freak" she tossed her rubbish in the trash and walked towards her locker. She sat down in front of it and waited for the bell to ring.

Leim saw the whole thing go on and he laughed when she rejected him he could ask any girl and they would say yes to him he was not sure about this one though he liked her she was hot she has been the only girl to catch his eye

The bell had rung and so Isla picked her books up from the locker and made her way to her last class. She sat down and layed her head in her arms. Kate walked in and smiled, "Hey girl, how's it going?" Isla sighed, "So far the worst day of school" The teacher begun talking and Isla risked a look at the guy she had seen earlier. She didn't know him so what was the point. The bell rang and she gathered her things, Kate stopped her at the door, "We're all going to the take-out shop down the road, would you like to join us?" Isla sighed, "Sure" she turned her head looking for Leim but he must have already gone -Oh well-
