Besides, her older brother, Niko Ambrose, could easily fix any part of the ship that Tamar was incapable of fixing. Adira devotedly believed in the crew that they had already spent years compiling and perfecting, so the idea of someone that she did not know simply setting foot upon the ship`s deck itself was incredibly upsetting; she refused to let anyone other than the crew anywhere near her precious experiements. Regardless, she knew better than to verbalize her opinions to the crew when they viewed her as a unneccessary addition. Of course, no one had ever directly said it to their crew`s leader: Morrigan Ambrose, the eldest sibling in the Ambrose family. At the moment, Adira was sprawled out sluggishly across one of the ancient couches that was situated in the lounging room, humming softly as she eavesdropped on the unfolding conversation between Morrigan and Tamar. She would have politely requested them to cease their obvious flirtations hours ago if she had been in a less sour mood, yet here she was.. enduring every single millisecond of it. The lounging room- well, the one everyone cared enough to use- was rather large and consisted of five long, leather couches that evidently had not seen the light of day, a counter that ran along the west side of the room, a refrigerator, and even a few bookcases showcasing random books Adira and Niko found interesting enough to keep. ``Adi, we`re landing. I expect you to find this.. Avery Iris for us,`` Niko`s familiar, incredibly gruff voice resonated throughout the ship`s entirety, nearly causing Adira to flinch and slip off of the couch. Mentally, she cursed herself and her inability to act even somewhat normal. She glanced over at Morrigan and Tamar, who had already looked over at her with sympathetic expressions, before she hoisted herself to her feet and exited the lounging room. Compared to most of the ships that traveled through space, the Ambrose Legacy- she still believes that the ship could use a rename- was much more larger and pristine, which was what most people would not expect when learning only five people resided within it. Adira hurriedly approached the exit ramp, briefly glancing at the neon sign that read 12-PR. It would seem that the planetary ring they were meeting him on was her least favorite; perhaps these were all warning signs that she truly was not going to enjoy this new source of company. With a roll of her eyes, she leaned against the nearby wall and braced herself for the inevitable reverbations that would shake the Ambrose Legacy`s entire infrastructure. ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ Ambrose Legacy Crew Captain: Morrigan Ambrose Second-In-Command: Calum Plutus Main Scientist: Adira Ambrose Scientist`s Assistant: Niko Ambrose ``Engineer``: Tamar

Avery Iris Avery shifted against his seat, gazing out the window silently. He hadn't been to 12-PR in forever. It was nostalgic to be going back. And for work no less. It was surreal. He gazed outside, his eyes longing. The deep space outside was beautiful, the stars were scattered about, more scarce when inside the ship. He glanced to his side, looking to his left instead. He was traveling on a public ship at the moment, with many other sorts of humans, augmented humans, and a few helpful bots. He watched as some babies whined. Probably from the strange feeling. He had a passing thought, wondering where they may be going. Avery heard the ship docking, an announcement sounding overhead, the lights brightening. He listened quietly, waiting for the signal it was alright to get up. Hearing the conformation from the pilot, he stood from his seat and began shuffling toward the exit. All the other passengers began getting off as well. He stepped off the ship, his foot resting against the 12-PR commercial boarding level. He winced at the loud chatter of noise. He forgot how popular this planetary system was. Interesting. He shuffled through the crowds, making his way toward the food center. He wasn't hungry, he just needed somewhere to check his feed. And it seemed like the best spot to do so. Avery reached a small food shop, on one of the quieter sides of the food center. A noodle restraint it seemed. He sank into his seat, slouching against it. He shifted, tapping his palm, beginning to look through his feed. Avery was wearing a loose black shirt, some cargo pants, a backpack, and some plain, black combat boots. His hair was tugged up in a loose bun, keeping it out of his face throughout the day. His backpack sat on the floor by his feet, his fingers ghosting over his feed, looking for the message. Where was he supposed to meet them? Avery jolted as he heard the robotic voice of a server bot next to him. He looked at it, staring for a moment. Oh. Oh, it thought he wanted something. He smiled awkwardly. "Ah- sorry, no, I'm just waiting." He mentioned, nodding. The bot made a small noise of acknowledgement and turned, whisking itself away and back to anlther customer. Right then. Avery shofted in his seat, closing his palm and dropping his hand into his lap. It was always so interesting coming to 12-PR. Out of all the planetary systems, this one had the broadest variety of humans. Or augmented humans. You could find all colors of hair, skin, and eyes here. Not to mention height, build, and personality. It was always an interesting trip to come back here. (Sorry if its bad!!)

As soon as the departure ramp decended and collided rather harshly with the metallic platform, Adira walked down and onto the ground. She nearly retreated back inside of the ship when she realized how crowded and bustling 12-PR was, which was far more than she remembered it being previously. With a frown plastered across her face, she began sauntering throughout the crowd, winding to and fro as Niko`s voice sporadically rang from her device; he was practically guiding her from the ship, knowing that she would not be able to handle such crowds for both a small and long amount of time. ``He should be a few feet away,`` Niko grumbled before he disconnected the call, leaving Adira to navigate the remainder of the way alone. Most would have thought it to be easy to track down someone with the renown someone such as her had, especially when she stuck out like a sore thumb with her expensive clothes and the Ambrose pendant that hung from her neck. Eventually, she found herself lingering beside a noodle shop, which seemed to be a quiter section of 12-PR; she was thankful for every moment of peace she was granted. ``Avery.. Avery..`` Adira mumbled the name of the man she was supposed to find repetitively, as if saying it would summon him from who knows where. She surveyed the individuals that were seated there, taking one step closer every now and then. It was not long before she spotted someone that matched the description she was looking for: curly black hair that was typically tied, muscular, tattoos here and there. Deciding it was better to approach than simply stand and let fate have its way, she approached the individual, not caring enough to rid the frown on her face. ``Avery,`` she stated the name in an inquisitive, yet firm voice, eyeing the man she presumed to be the new engineer that would be aboard the Ambrose Legacy. A part of her wondered if he truly knew what he was getting into.. The moment someone was involved with the Ambrose and their crew could either be their downfall or ressurrection, it depended entirely on what the individual did with the opportunity. Everyone knew how serious the Ambrose were along with their crew, which was precisely why most people simply acknowledhed them and stayed out of their way.

Avery Iris Avery shifted against the seat he was in, eyes scanning over his feed in a lazy manner. He hadn't gotten a ping yet from the Ambrosia Legacy. Which was annoying. But he didn't show it. His mind was snapped to the present when he heard his name, looking up, he watched a young lady walk right by him, muttering his name. Hm. Well, that must be an employer. She was skinny, had dark brown hair, and was frowning so deeply he thought her face may begin melting. He didn't get up to go see her, he waited until she walked over. "Yep, that's me. Avery Iris, nice to meet you." Avery said, giving her a quick grin. The silver lip ring curved upwards with his lip, extenuating the smile. He gestured to the seat across from him, urging the female to sit if she pleased as he leaned back against his own seat. He didn't exactly know what to expect with this new job, but he needed the money. The only part about this was the length. He'd be with this crew for much longer then usual. It intrigued him. His mother has suggested he dream big. Well, the whole world did that. Considering he was sitting on a planetary ring, in space, and breathing. He was used to it by now. Hopping from one PR to another, to planets at times, to ships. He had been, what felt like, everywhere. Avery's attention slowly drifted back to the female, his eyes meeting hers, he stared. He never had a problem with eye contact. He enjoyed it, if anything. Her eyes were a hazelnut color, and glaring at him. Great. He already had a feeling he'd love this job. Just keep to yourself and do what's needed. Avery told himself. It was just another job, like it always was. Now. He judt needed to answer a few questions, probably, then do whatever else. His grip on his bag subconsciously tightened, clenching the fabric in between his pale, scarred up fingers.

She nearly smiled at the offer before she refrained from doing so; Ambrose`s were held to a certain standard in society, one that she could not dare alter in any way, shape, or form. With a long exhale, she sauntered over to the open seat snd settled down, leaning against it and flitting her gaze across hos build. To her surprise and pleasure, she realized that he was obviously an engineer, not another one of those.. beggars that would do anything to smuggle their way onto the ship; no one that was not meant to be there made it out alive.. or unwounded. "Why did you reach out to us specifically, Mr. Iris?" Adira emphasized his last name as she folded her arms, planting them firmly on the table as she met his stare head-on. She may be the awkward and incredibly embarrasing scientist aboard the Ambrose Legacy, the very same one that everyone understood to simply leave alone, but on planetary rings and everywhere else, she was the epitome of an Ambrose: cold, calculated, meticulous, effortlessly elegant, and knew exactly what she wanted from everyone and everything. "Was it our reputation that intrigued you? Perhaps you are like the others and wanted an arguably easier way to make cash?"

Avery Iris Avery shifted his gaze to his side, staring at the noodle shop sign in silence. "I have the abilities to work on a better crew then the thug jobs I usually work. I wanted to try it. But I'm also not gonna act like I'm not here for some of the money too." He said bluntly, the words rolling off his tongue easily. He wasn't a liar and he didn't try to seem better then he was. He didn't need this job of course. But it would be new and different then usual. He was getting sick of working thug jobs or minor repair jobs. He wanted something his degree could actually be put to. Avery met the females gaze again, staring into the cold gaze without a glitch. He was used to cold eyes, glares, and scowls. He was around dangerous people all the time. And he was often hunted by said dangerous people. He raised an eyebrow at the female. "You know my name, should I know yours?" He asked. He didn't know her name. All he knew was that the Ambrosia's had some sort of legacy. He didn't care much for the people who were bordering on famous nowadays. And he certainly didn't have time to look into and fawn over the members. That was not his thing, at all. (Sorry it's short!)

She was not a fan of not being recognizable, especially when she was an Ambrose of all people. With a huff of annoyance, she glanced towards his belongings that were still limp against the floor, silently wondering what was concealed within the backpack. ``Adira Ambrose is my name,`` she mumbled once she regained her composure. Of course, Adira rarely acted like this, but she was already exhausted from running around; Niko should have dealt with this, not her. ``I probably don`t match those.. rumors people spread.`` ``Anyways, are you excited or are you one of those types that just works nonstop?`` Adira inquired further as she leaned in closer once again. She was the inquisitor out of everyone on the Ambrose Legacy, the only one that was careful enough to want to know who they were letting on the ship. Morrigan and Tamar were too infatuated with each other, Niko was happily messing with her and his trinkets, while Calum found solace in watching her do experiments. (My apologies if these seem rushed; they will gradually become better, <3)
