Diablo Agiwolf Diablo swung an axe, sweat dripping down his bare back he had ripped the shirt off of minutes earlier. The hot summer sun shone down with a blistering heat only matched by the throbbing in his head. "I wish this stupid cabin didn't have a wood furnace..." He growled to himself, cutting another chunk of wood before wiping sweat from his brow. His athletic, well tanned upper body was quivering with exhaustion, and every muscle ached. Diablo ad been chopping wood since he awoke at 6 am, and it was now 5 pm. He took a deep breath before finally giving up and putting the axe away, its blade glinting in the sunlight. He stacked the wood he had just cut in a small woodshed and walked to a small brook, splashing his face with the cold water

Tiger paced. "Mantis I'm telling you! There has to be more people like us out there!" She gestured toward the window of their hideout. "yes but think about it Tiger. There is no way to find them!" Mantis ran a hand through his hair. "there has to be a way. use your technology or something" Tiger shot back. Mantis bit his lip "Actually that might work." Tiger looked at him hopefully. He got to work. If there were others like them then they'd get a message from a mechanical looking firefly shortly. Yes his bugs were really useful.

Diablo glanced around warily before walking a little ways into the woods, fur starting to grow on his back. He hated when this happened. When he got way too exhausted, his body would react by turning him into a Tasmanian Deil against his will to compensate. The animal didn't get tired as quickly as humans, so, by doing that, it would restore his energy. Still, it was unhelpful, say, when he was in the middle of a farmer's market. Diablo's face grew longer and his blunt teth started turning into blood-stained razor sharp fangs. His senses immediately became sharper and information started flooding in. The only good thing was that he didn't shrink to go into the real Tasi size. He stayed the same size unless he actually made himself shrink to the real size, because he could do that too. Diablo let out a growl of slight pain as long, 6 inch claws grew out of his hands which were now paws. -I absolutely HATE it when this happens- He thought, snorting a little after the transformation was complete. Diablo waited a second before changing back into human, which was a quicker process, and felt a lot less tired. "At least it works.." He mumbled, his words a bit slurred as he stumbled back to the cabin and sat down. Diablo blinked sleepily and yawned, shaking the exhaustion away before making sure his clothing was still intact.. well his pants anyway.. and going outside to put everything away.

Mantis waited hoping his fireflies would make it to the others. he had picked up energy from someone shifting so he sent a firefly there. he could see through the bugs eyes. a man. Yes he was one. The message would play telling him about tiger and himself leading him to them. Mantis hoped it would work. Tiger was getting restless and Mantis was well aware of what might happen if she got to restless. he didn't need that no one needed that.

Diablo clicked his teeth together a couple times, a bit anxious. He wondered if tonight guards would show up at his door. Bounty hunters? He had a lot of them try and get him. None of them succeeded, obviously, but who cared about that. They all just wanted him dead as a doornail. After everything was secured, the woodshed door was locked, and other things had been put away, he went inside and locked the door. Not like that would do anything. Diablo closed the windowshades and took a deep breath, slowly drawing his tongue over his teeth. His canines were always sharp... almost like vampire teeth. They never dulled back up after his first transformation. Aaaand, to make it worse, his teeth always tasted like blood. "Grrr" He mumbled, stalking over to the counter and making some bacon.

The firefly landed in Diablo's hair. The message played softly. "there are others just like you. I'm mantis if you follow the map that will pop up when you touch the right wing of this firefly you will find us. We have to work together. That's the only way to keep us all safe and preserve our kind for future generations."

River was quietly dancing in her fav clearing. Humming the song No Mercy. Her black and silver hair was pulled into a elegant french braid. When she finished the routine she stood quietly. Then she transformed int a magestic night black spanish mustang, and galloped off.

Diablo jumped almost through the roof when he heard a buzz and a firefly just landed in his hair and started speaking. -Okkkk I've seen weirder things... right?- He thought, pulling thee firefly away from his ear. He had amazing hearing, so he could still hear it when it was in his hands. "More like me? Enticing." He mumbled, narrowing his eyes. Diablo had literally JUST finished building this place. This was his home. On the other hand... he needed to socialize a little... and there was more like him! Shapeshifters! People that wouldn't try and murder him on sight! He made a quick decision, packed up necessary items in a bulky backpack, and tapped the right wing of the bug. A map popped up. "Here goes nothing." He muttered, starting on his way,

Mantis sent out another firefly to find shadow. When the firefly found her it landed on her ear and played the same message as it had with Diablo. Mantis hoped his plan was working. he knew that Diablo was on his way from the tracker in the firefly. But would it work with everyone? That he didn't know. But he'd find out soon enough.
