That and I only took lessons for a year and a half. As confident as I feel about my riding I know I am no where near ready to compete in anything. And Definitely not in reining like my old instructor was trying to get me to do
I'm sure I could lease a horse but I can't justify it if I don't compete or something with it and I'm not sure I have time or energy or skills between both fulltime work and college

I don't ride anymore sadly. I don't have that opportunity and I probably won't for a few years so I don't need to worry about clothes for riding. Just for working as a waitress
Honestly if you live around towns consignment shops are the way to go. I've saved a couple hundred bucks this year combing through them. I got new hiking, work, casual, and formal stuff for a fraction of the price what it would've been.
OH! You know what? I have found gym leggings are pretty think and work great as riding pants. Very colorful, but they hold my phone well and stretch with me.
