| We were desperate. We had a week to move and there were such limited options on where we could move to. The house was listed for sale or rent. We told the landlord we wanted to rent the house and she required we pay up front. She gave us 24 hours to decide to begin with and said other people were interested in it. She did a video walkthrough but didnÂ’t show the things that were wrong. The rotting floor, the missing sink drain plugs, the gigantic hole in the wall, the unfinished closet, all because she said it didnÂ’t affect our quality of life. I took photos of it all when we moved in. She is acting this way because she wants to sell the house and spent all of our money we sent to her already. She knows the house isnÂ’t going to last much longer without being fixed and that the issues are starting to seriously show. All things that were there before we even moved in. |
