depends on breed, gem
as someone who breeds color ISH, i usually ask ~5k for EWE combo colts but my EWE combo fillies can usually fetch around ~15k, i price them lower if they have sabino because i see it as undesirable but i dont know what the general consensus is on that

That goes in sales chat :)

15k is a little much for a colt, but about half what the filly should be

Is 15000$ a good asking price for EWE colts and filly’s?

Hey Y'all! I need opinions please.
I've never tracked training consistently before and have started doing so with a handful of girls. I am wondering if someone will look at their progress and see what ya think.
Any girls in THIS BARN with an * are the ones I am tracking. Thanks in advance if you look!

I'll explain what you're looking for!
Week 3: Very rare, but sometimes a horse might go up one bar if they're really strong.
Week 4: You ideally want all the bars up, however 5/6 is also really good.
Week 7: half of horses don't have a week 7, but you want as many bars up as possible.
Week 8: Like week 4, you ideally want all bars up. Week 8 usually looks identical to week 4. So if your wk 4 was 122122, your wk 8 will probably be 233233

I looked at several of the ones you indicated, and my advice is to not track weeks 1 through 3. Those are always going to be 111111 unless you have an exceptionally strong trait. Just start with Week 4. Like Sagebrush said, you should see traits go up every 4 weeks or so, especially at the beginning. Some of your mares have traits going up in Wk 7, just 3 weeks after they went up in Wk 4. Those are probably going to be their strongest traits. :)
