This is our last foal of the season! A wonderful red colt with some chrome. He still needs a name! My dad like Ranchero, Chero for short. I personally don't like since it does not roll of the tongue, but I can't think of anything better. So far we have Rocket, Torino (Rino for short), and Ripple. Ripple got her name from her mom Butterscotch so we have Butterscotch Ripple. The other two where just random. This little guys mom is Duchess, or as I call her Dutch Cheese (No clue where that came from). I was hoping on a filly so I could name her after a wine, because fancy. I am at a lost so please drop your suggestions below! |

Merlot – Why not consider Merlot along with Merlow (English) or the French names Merla, Merle, Merlin? Beaune – Cote de Beaune calls to mind the masculine moniker Beau (French) and Beaudean (Scandinavian) Call name Beau Montrachet – formal name Call Name Monte. |
