My personal opinion is if you can enter your horses by hand do that as you have better judgement when it comes to when your horses should show and I have found I earn more ebs when I enter by hand then when I use my BM

I've also noticed you've asigned some horses to the BM. I've actually stopped using her because she keeps entering horses that are definitly not ready to. So you're loosing a bit of money there too.
Im going to have to disagree with you here. The BM has been a lifesaver for me as I have her assigned to 200 geldings and set to show only the competitive ones. I have not once had a problem with her entering boys that aren't in the money and she saves so much time. Fran, I recommend you assign her a full 200 horses to show and set her to show only the competitive ones, it may help your profits and will surely help save your time.
I'm definitely on using the BM to help and then entering by hand to supplement/increase the amount of ebs. At the very least even if you don't log on you'll still make a (small) profit. I'd also recommend reading Eurynome's showing guide if you haven't already

I do like using her as she does increase profit a bit. I have looked at Eury and Hyrims showing guides. Eury's takes a bit longer if im having to go into each horses profile, which I (annoyingly) dont often have time to do. This coming week Ill try Hyrims and see where it goes.
Would you say that if I took 2 weeks off of showing, starting up again would mean a slow/small profit at first?

I use the BM mainly for the convenience of being able to update and consolidate my horses every week but she also does a fair job at entering some horses. I always hand enter horses as well. I make more money the days she enters than I do on the days she has off.
I am sure I am missing things while entering so I have been following this thread. I do not have the time to check each horse to see if they are close to leveling but I do enter everybody in the green every single day if the week. Then I go through the easy entry page and enter horses who have not been shown at their same level in the past 2-3 weeks. If they have leveled up since they last showed I wait until about 4 weeks since showing last. I miss a lot because of course it all takes time and sometimes I only do a couple barns a week. When I get back to the barn some will have leveled up even more so then I am just guessing about entering.
I have a lot of horses so I also make sure I enter my maximum of 1500 shows a week. I generally make 100-150k in profit on the BM days (m-w) and 15k-80k on her days off. I have horses in the green every day of the weeks but after the first few days there are way fewer of course.
I have a bunch of worthless mares for showing, their past history shows that they rarely show and when they do they do not place so I need to go through the barns and unassigned their riders and just stop showing them. I was waiting until I had a more solid gelding group before I did that.
