Hello! So I'm recently switching my breeding stock over to an AD focus, so I need help culling, as I can;t really afford to keep all of them! I'm a little hesitant to get rid of some of my S girls, because one of my EPS recently gave me an EEP! Anyways, I trust all of your opinions and judgement more than mine!

Hey, there! If you are gonna start culling your stock for breeding All Discipline, I'd throw out your S combo girls. Despite getting EEP combos from them, the foal(s) will usually have a few too many major weaknesse in certain traits. Instead, try keeping any PEP+ combo mares to start with, then move into keeping and EPE+ combo mares, and so forth. I you have any more questions don't hesitate to private message me! <3 - Heidi

As hard is it may be, I would cull everything under EPP. Being strict with your culling can really boost a program in the right direction. :)

I would cull anything under EEP combo unless it has good color or sentimental value.

I might be a little late, but if you start AD you want more show horses. If you don't like to let go of some of your S girls, CS her and use her for showing. They do just as well as geldings on CS.
