I have a lot of experience with various snakes- I rescued for awhile. But I am almost always able to pin point why- but this, I better call a detective at this point because I am clueless.
@Celeste, huh that is a bit odd. I never let my enclosure drop below 70 either and in doing my research people say a lot of snakes can tolerate as low as 65 or 60 at night.
I have a CHE that I turn on at night- so it never gets less than 70. The only thing that has changed enclosure wise is his substrate- but he has had a feed since being on it and was fine. I dunno.
