^ to back up Ninth House: it's not a book I would've finished if I didn't trust Leigh Bardugo, but I do so I did and it's incredibly good but does have a lot of sensitive topics in it, so it's a very "proceed with caution" book. Also, it's one of those that's better on the reread.

I love Six of Crows, and recently read House of Salt and Sorrows, I wasn't sure what I thought of it, it was good, but the rather creepy, I love reading the Warriors series by Erin Hunter and I absolutely love my book Sundancer by Shelley Peterson:D And I love the Lord Of The Ring trilogy and The Hobbit!

I loved House of Salt and Sorrows! I liked the realtion they made to 12 Dancing Princesses but with a dark twist. It was a lot darker than I was expecting, but I really liked it.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Reaction: I had no thoughts coming into reading this book. A lot of the times when I read a book that everyone has been ranting and raving about, I just try to come in with a clear mind. I was pleasantly surprised by the pace and story line of this book. I loved the way it was written and I found myself totally encompassed by the world of the High Fae. I love this as a stand alone book! I am curious how they are going to continue the series in the next four books. I wasn't sure there was enough going on to make more books, but we'll see!
Recommendation: I highly recommend this book if you are into fantasy, fairies, and romance with a mix of adventure and action. I really enjoyed reading this book. There were some very predictable and cheesy parts, but I thought it was cute.

I'm a big Stephen King fan. You usually can't go wrong with something of his IMO, especially if you enjoy horror. I genuinely wish I could erase 11/22/63 from my brain and reread it for the first time. I also really like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I buy the new book the day it's released and basically devour it in a few days.

Man I hated ACOTAR. I'm a big SJM hater though, as some of you know LMAO
Edit: finished Realm Breaker btw, would definitely recommend especially if you love the found family trope and it also has a villain romance :)

House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland
Reaction: This book was an impulse buy after continually seeing it on TikTok. Many people said it was good, but I didn't expect it to actually be as good as it was. I read it in two days. Technically less than a day if you really want to get technical with hours and what not. A totally addicting page turner. I literally could not put it down.
Recommendation: I highly recommend this book. It definitely falls within my all time favorite books. This book is full of magic, mystery, deception, and treachery. The story follows Iris, Vivi, and Grey Hollow. They went missing as children, but no one knows the circumstances of their disappearance and turned back up one month later. They don't even remember their lives before the time they were found and don't remember what happened during the month they were gone. Grey goes missing at the age of 21 and leaves breadcrumb clues for her sisters to find her. The entire story is so good and there are several plot twists that I was genuinely not expecting. I had theories built from the very beginning about what was going on, but my theories were no match for the GOLD Sutherland wrote. Read it. Read it. Read it.
