Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas
Reaction: This is the book where everything the other books have built towards starts coming to light. I loved loved loved the Thirteen and the alliances the characters made in order to survive. There were so many moments where I was in tears or my jaw was hitting the floor. The chemistry that is building between Aelin and her court is so so addictive. I am so excited to do the tandem read with the next two books.

Oh I did love this book.
I stopped reading at EoS because knew what was going to happen and couldn't take the emotional destruction. One day I'll pick up where I left off. Maybe you'll persuade me to finish the series XD

I've learned the hard way that SJM likes to rip my heart out and stomp it into the ground. The sad thing is that I've become so numb to it XD I haven't started EoS or ToD yet, but school is starting back up so once my classroom is set back up I should be able to get into the tandem read.

The Secret Life of Addie LaRue
Reaction: I truthfully was expecting so much more from this book. Starting out, it was so so good. It got really intense really quickly and then seemed to fizzle out with about 100 pages left. It took me forever to get past this point. The ending was good, and open ended so you can decide what really happens or they are planning on writing a second book.
Recommendatiom: The concept of the book makes it worth reading, but beware of the slow areas. If you fizzle out of books that have slow parts, this may not be for you.
The Nature of Witches
Reaction: This was an impulse buy. It was a super quick read and I really enjoyed it. The mixture of magic, nature, and the real world makes it so fun. The story line is so good.
Recommendation: I really do recommend this book. It wasn't anything absolutely amazing, but it is a nice rainy day read.

Just read this and loved it! Very slow but I think it's a beautiful book for the vibes more than the plot.
