Sadie by Courtney Summers Reaction: First things first, check your trigger warnings because this book is dark. An inside look of a girl who has grown up in severe poverty with an addict mom and has been abused by her mom's ex-boyfriend. After the murder of her sister, Sadie wants revenge. It follows Sadie's perspective and the perspective of a podcast, which was surprisingly really intriguing. I don't usually like books that switch povs but this worked really well. The ending leaves you with a pit in your stomach because you realize how messed up this world can be. Please read this book, even if you don't like murder mystery or dark reads. Its so eye opening. Rating: 5/5 stars

If you like fantsey and adventure read the Vladimar books by Mercedees Lackey. They are really good and cover a lot of things. Also if you can them anything by L.J. Smith is pretty good too.

Glint by Raven Kennedy Reaction: I wasn't excited to read this book, I really just wanted to know what happened next in the series, but this book got my hooked! The first book was a world builder, but this one where the plot really starts rolling. I am invested in the characters and Auren's history. There were so many plot twists, especially the end! I'm excited to read the next book! Rating: 4/5 stars

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas Reaction: I was not excited to read this book, because I was not a fan of Nesta in the other books and found her "woe-is-me" act very annoying. I love Cassian, but prefer Azriel and selfishly want a book from him perspective. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this book had a good plot that linked the other books in the series and was more than just spicy scenes, though there were plenty of those. I adore the way SJM writes and found a new understanding for Nesta. I am obsessed with the inclusion of the valkyries and am excited for the next book! Emerie and Gwyn need more story time! Rating: 4/5

Crescent City House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas Reaction: This was an absolute masterpiece and SJM just pulled off something that I have never experienced in any book I have ever read. I am sitting here in absolute and utter shock. Rating: 5/5

Just started Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan (literally on the third chapter!). Have to say, so far obsessed! Still slowly chugging along through Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare; basically pick it up for a couple chapters then it goes to the back-burner. Can't stay focused on it (been a year!) and I've skipped around a couple times. Although I've felt that way with the last few books (since The Dark Artifices series). My audiobook list keeps growing exponentially - but I keep jumping back to oldies/goodies or podcasts. Hopefully I'll have some time coming up to really dedicate to tackling my To Be Read list.

You already mentioned the ACOTAR and the Crescent City (which I haven't gotten a chance to read yet) books by Maas, so I really think I need to mention Throne Of Glass. The books are really good, and the series has been finished (I think). Just make sure to keep the tissues handy!
