I hadn't updated this for a while, nothing overly intresting happened but I thought I'd share this yesterday I noticed Nellie was sick. So I called the vet and they said I can get her in on Friday (thursday depending on where you live) so obviously I was scrambling to save her. In the end a few hours ago I saw Glacier around her she was barely moving and I kinda knew she wasn't going to make it, so I held her. In tears while glacier watched from a perch the closest he could be. At some point she stopped breathing and I lost it. For some dumb ass reason I cried over her death more than I have any other pet this year, even though I'd only known her for a couple years. I think my heart aches more for Glacier than my own. It was so hard putting him back in his cage all he wanted to do was be near Nellie. He paced back and forth while I held Nellie. The poor dude even chose to sleep exactly where Nellie did last night. For such a noisy bird he hasn't made a sound since.

These are all my pets with a description of age personality etc. I'm starting off with youngest to oldest. (this won't include my axolotl but still) George George is our newest member he is only 8 weeks old and he has a few intresting markings, his head and tail have a patch of black. Thats all I know about him really, he is my sister named him after her favorite youtuber but I love the name for him either way <3 Jello RIP Jello would about 6 months old now He's my baby. I named him after a baby bird I raised and let go once he was an adult and could do "big bird" things. I named that bird jello because I fed him jelly meat (cat food) That was not primarily his diet but it's what I fed him majority of the time. I only got jello as a surprise a bit before Christmas. Mavis Definitely they most retarded and energetic bulldog ever. for many reasons. One of her latest was nearly being trampled by a horse because she ran DIRECTLY UNDER HIM! but anyway shes a year old now she's not getting any better. Still just wants to play and bites in er play and loves little toddler aged kids including pushing them over, and she thinks when they cry they're laughing to she continues- But oh well we're taking her to dog lesson things this year so hopefully, that helps. Nellie RIP Nellie is the most territorial and bitchiest borb I have ever owned. Also the only female. She is a few months over a year old (realizing 2020 has gone too fast.) Nellie and my oldest borb have been showing signs of breeding and I brought them a box because I didn't want her to lay in the food bowl or on the ground of her cage. Nellie: right Glacier: left Glacier I absolutely hate generic names I was not going to name him sky or something similar. Glacier is my first bird to me and he's definitely the dumbest yet smartest out of the lot. I have been training him for a year and I got him exactly a year ago on the20th of Jannuary <3 I have taught him to "target" which is a stick if he touches he gets food hence why It was easy to train him. Nellie is sort of getting it but glacier always gets it before her. He can also shake and wave. He can't talk as he spent his entire life with another bird he never learned English only budgie. He tends to eat his own poo :/ but anyway he's a little over a year old and I love him, he probably doesn't love my but oh well. Smudge Straight forward smudge is my child. She's a wild cat had her since she was a kitten my arents caught her one day when they were suposed to be on a date and I had the choice of name. I named her friggin smudge. I love her but like the most generic cat name ever and I hate it. She's had a litter of kittens in her life a couple of 9 ish months after my parents caught her. She loved me that much she followed me everywhere during her labor and tried to give birth on my bed. Kind of gross but I moved her into her cardboard box and sat with her on the floor. She has a habit of wanting cuddles when I'm painting resulting in her either sitting in my paint or at least standing in it. I don't think many cats enjoy being on their backs but she does. If she wants cuddles she either stays where she is or is held like a baby. Oscar RIP He's a bit old now, 13 years old. He's a cute cat and was a Christmas present when I was younger. He has arthritis and has this horrible thing where he eats and eats but never puts any weight on he's been like this for roughly 2 years. Considering putting him down this year :,( but hopefully, he can make it. if he does a little better than he is now he might. He likes pets no cuddles though. At 11 pm last night we got a knock on our door. They had found a dead cat on their drive way. Me and my mum ran out of the house because we are the only ones in the area who have our cats outside at night. My boi Oscar died.

NOO! any idea what happened? The poor Baby, I am so, so sorry! Are you okay?? I know how you feel we have a cat named Pizza-Pie (pizza), a pretty tortiseshell we rescued from a Pizza place's dumpster and she had a kitten with her we named lark. Lark got out during the night a couple weeks ago and a neighbor told us a cat that looked similar to ours was on the street, dead. Turns out someone CRUSHED her with their car by accident, Her little kitten body was on the street mangled It was absolutley awful Edited at March 23, 2021 12:02 PM by Rising Rescue
