So ive got a few messages saying ive ignored their previous messages, but im here to explain everything!

I am currently going through hell right now. Medically.

I need to get my tonsils and adenoids removed due to a chronic sinus infection and recurring strep. Thats just the beginning of everything. I wont mention everything, but I will say.. The worst thing currently is managing my chronic IBS, and I did recently become hospitalized for what we thought was simple GI issues.

Turns out.. I have screened positive for MALS syndrome, and immediate surgery is recommended. The surgery isnt likely to be successful. If the surgery fails, im very likely to struggle and be in the hospital most, if not my entire life. So im really hoping this works. Ive had 3 IVs, and all of them have caused me to blow up like a damn balloon. Very painful, lol. So were now taking oral medication, while were throwing everything up. Liquid diet didnt change anything. It hurt, and I kept vomiting it back up. And thats how were here!

I have a friend currently hospitalized for MALS, and she was stressing to me that I could have MALS as well. Brought it up to my doctors and the GI, and they directly to my face called me crazy. I lost my shit eventually hand demanded a MALS screening, and my doctors were pale faced and apologizing when I came back positive. They sincerely apologized, and im being taken care of very well.

This is just to inform anyone incase I fail to respond to messages, even if I hop online to grab my daily bonus! Ive received so much support lately, and although the physical pain is unbearable, the mental portion is put at much ease because of all the love im receiving! ❤️

Sooo.. They found a huge issue with my back muscles being insanely tight and spazzing.. 😅 It can pose a huge risk of paralyzation during the nerve block surgery tomorrow, so they have me on muscle relaxers 3x daily, you better believe they come with long naps! Still trying to stay super positive about all of this, but the liquid diet I have been on has caused me to lose even more weight than I was already losing when vomiting my food.

They go through my back, and my spine to get to my celiac artery, and they preform the nerve block around there. If this works (I know I said this yesterday possibly but..) not only will I be able to eat, but I will go ahead with the surgery.

So as thats stated, we have surgery tomorrow! We have massage therapy ordered as well to help with my back and shoulders. He wont address the issue (thank god), but he said he is recommending me to someone when I leave here to get it fixed, lol. So even more issues upon issues.

Awesome news! My nerve block went perfect! Im eating, walking, and even so happy that im doing a little dance in bed mindlessly. 😅

This does mean we will proceed with the surgery for MALS. I just dont know if I will go home for a bit, and then come back to get it.. or if I will stay here and get it this following week.

Very upset that Steve didnt pay me a visit today, but.. at least I can eat! 🥰

We are discussing the surgery on Monday. Not sure what time, they dont have any times set for when their doctors, or specialists come in sadly.

Couldnt they give you pain meds? You shouldnt have to lay around in agony until the surgery :(
