He shrugged. "You make plenty of money pickpocketing though, I thought." He glanced over at her. "Besides, even if I did decide I wanted a job, which would hire me? I just dont think it would happen even if I wanted it to."

She glanced over at him "yeah but that's the thing..that's why people are scared of us...I'm just saying we could make things right and become the richest people in the world because of it, because of doing good things not bad things but forget it, it's not your style"

He shrugged. "That doesn't mean you can't try, though. Just because I'm too sunk in this life to even want to try and get out doesn't mean you can't."

"I don't want to do it alone" she whispered to herself. She closed her eyes in the hope to fall asleep

He frowned and glanced at the girl. Thinking she was asleep, he sighed and leaned back on the bed. "You could find someone a whole lot better than me to do it with," he murmured, half to himself.

She eventually fell asleep and was conked for a few hours. The doctor popped in and put a blanket on her and even managed to hoover the floor without waking her up.

Sage was amused by how deeply Amber could sleep - he had always been a light sleeper, woken by the slightest sound. He lay awake most of the night, thinking about a lot of different things. He finally fell asleep as the sun was coming up.

Amber slept soundly in the chair when suddenly she woke up to the soft sound of Sage moving slightly while he was asleep. Jesus! She shouted in her head. She felt her heart racing in her chest. My god the slightest things wake me up! She thought

Sage woke up a few hours later and glanced at the clock before pulling the pillow over his face. "Nope, too early," he muttered.

Amber got up and went for a walk around the hospital to wake herself up properly. She met the actual main nurse and complained about the other nurse that was catering for the boy. The nurse laughed and half scolded Amber for being mean but she also agreed she wasn't the best nurse around
