"If she dies I give up. On everything." He shrugged. "Probably even getting out of bed."

Lili nudges her face into his shoulder and sniffles softly. "I won't let her.." She murmurs, tears falling down her cheeks

"Honestly I'd be surprised if I stopped being somewhat normal and just gave up. I've accidentally done it before," Cole whispered wiping his nose on his sleeve.

Lili wrapped her arms around him in hug, she sniffled softly into his chest.

"My world is burning," Cole murmured.

"I...I'm sorry Cole... for everything.." She whispers softly.

"No." Cole snapped, hugging her firmly. "You don't have to be sorry. For anything. You're innocent. I'm not."

Lili cries softly into his shoulder as she hugs him back, she then hears the door pop open from behind them but she just stayed, wrapped in Cole's hug.

"Good news, shes okay, but I wouldn't leave her alone, just to be safe. I can put her on an antidepressant and see if that helps, but other than that I'm positive she'll get over all of this." The woman smiled, setting Holly on the table. Cole didn't move, but instead nodded. "Thank you."

Lili sniffled softly, burying her face deeper into the crook of Cole's neck. Her tears dampen his shirt in places. She rubs his back gently a little as they sit there, embraced.
