"oh that must have been hard to deal with, being a ghost all of a sudden" Ambrose said with subtle hints of empathy in his voice "but I guess I'm lucky you ended up here, I was getting lonely and bored" he said trying to see the bright side of it "and hey if you can look human then we can be friends, would you mind showing me?" Ambrose was curious to see what his new companion looked like when he was solid

"It was rather surprising, but I got used to it quickly," he says, "and there are a few advantages to it." He hesitated a second when asked to show his human form. He didn't do this normally, but he felt that this could be an acception. He relaxed and shifted into his human form, his hair being all the way down. He then glanced at Ambrose, "Happy now?"

Ambrose nodded "well I suppose being able to float, be invisible and fly through walls are all helpful" he smiled and watched as Phantom turned into a human, he wasn't sure how to react when he saw him, so his face decided for him and his cheeks flushed pink again "Yeah you could say I'm happy" he nodded smiling at the person across from him "you look surprisingly different as a human" he noted

"Well being a ghost just makes me look more pale," he says and brushes his hair back. He then pulls it back and puts it in a ponytail. He then turns back to Ambrose and noticed his pink cheeks. "You look different with those pick cheeks," he teases with a smirk, "you looked even redder earlier." He liked to tease people when he was human and often did it when he was alone with them. He didn't do it to girls tho, since he knew he was gay through and through.

"Im just pale, no need for being a ghost here" he shrugged and looked Phantom over one more time, watching him do up his hair before replying to his comment about his blush "As I said I have pale skin, blush shows up easily so its not new" he huffed, knowing that was a bit of a lie, but Phantom did not have to know that right now, Ambrose turned his attention back to Phantom's face because he had turned away to avoid further embarrassment

He looks at him and tilts his head some. "May I ask why you're so pale," he asked, "most people I see are tanned or have naturally dark skin. But yours is as plae as mine as a ghost." Phantom looked at him with his good eye. He had been born naturally blind in the other and it was a disadvantge at times.

"well, I was just born with really light skin, so I can't really tan all that much I would probably burn and end up looking like a tomato" he shrugged "and It's a genetic thing, may have to do with the fact that one of my parents are a ginger, people with ginger hair tend to have lighter skin amd freckles like me" Ambrose added leaning back a little

"Ah, that makes since," he says, "well I should probably leave. I live across town so I want to get home before it gets too dark." He starts to walk back towards the window and hears thunder outside followed by the sound of heavy rain. A frown appears on his face and he calculates how long it would take for him to walk home. He thinks for a moment before letting out a sigh. Phantom walks back to the main room and looks a Ambrose. "Do you mind if I stay until the storm passes," he asks, "I don't have any cash on me and I can't touch the rain in my ghost form."

Ambrose was about to ask Phantom if he really had to go when the ghost stopped and walked back without being asked "um, of course you can stay, you can have my room and I'll take the couch if you end up having to stay the night" being a college student a single room apartment was the best he could do at the moment "make yourself at home I guess" he said getting up and going to the kitchen "I'm gonna order food, anything you want or can you not eat?"
"I eat on occasions," he says sitting back down in the chair, "since I'm technically dead my body doesn't need food. But since I'm a ghost I need energy, but I don't digest as easily. Does that make since?" He didn't like that Ambrose was going to sleep on the couch, but decided that it must be his way of manners. He didn't argue about it tho, not wanting to be rude, since he was taught to be proper.
