Ambrose managed to go redder than before, he opened his mouth to say something but all that came out was a squeak and a few stutters, he shut himself up and cleared his throat before trying again "I-it wasn't bad" he murmured looking down again to hide the blush, not that there was any point in trying

"Well would you like to continue then," he asked. He chucled some seeing how red he was and reached up to brush some hair out of his own and Ambrose's face. Despite his past experiences with dating, Phantom had the feeling that Ambrose might be the one to stay with. Something about him just made his heart flutter some.

"I...I don't know" Ambrose had no idea how this worked, yes he had liked it, but this was the first time they had ever met and plus...Phantom was, well, a phantom and he wasn't sure how those rules worked "Just a kiss? That's all right" he checked looking up chewing on his lip a bit

"We can start with a kiss," he says, "then we can get more into it when you're ready." He didn't feel like rushing him and didn't want to make him nervous. He wanted Ambrose to enjoy this and wanted him to be okay with it. He moved him hand onto Ambrose's cheek and looked at him.

"just a kiss" he said with a nod this time. Ambrose didn't comment on Phantom's second statement and just leaned his head into the ghost's hand, meeting his gaze with a small unsure smile tugging at his lips, this was still confusing but he was ready to try it out, Phantom was attractive and seemed sweet, they were both adults and both single Edited at April 19, 2021 05:24 PM by Misconception Grapes

He smiles and nods before kissing him again. This time he held it for a little longer and let out a small sigh when he pulled away. "So you've never done this before," he says trying to get a feel about his past experiences. If he hadn't done it before then he'll have to start at the basics.

"no, never. I'm busy with school and my job so I haven't had the time to fall in love and even if I did I don't know when I would make time for them" he explained "but, I always liked the idea of having someone there for me so of you really do want a relationship with me then I'd like to actually get to know you.." Phantom nods understandingly at this. Whenever he found someone he liked while on a speed date he wanted to know about them. "Maybe we could give it a try," he suggests, "us being together. I don't work so I can just sneak along with you or hang out here all day." It would be fun seeing different places around the city and having a better place to stay. He mostly stayed with whoever he was haunting until he got tired of them or they kicked him out somehow. Sure he did still have his home across town, but it had burned down a few days after he died and was abandoned. He stayed there every now and again, still feeling attached to it.

Ambrose nodded "I would like that" he smiled "this can be our first date, Pizza and a movie" he grinned getting up and taking Phantom's hands, leading him to the couch and sitting down patting the place beside him to invite the ghost to join him "if you're up for it of course?"

He nods and sits down beside him, "I'm always up for an exciting relationship. What kind of movie are we going to watch? I don't really have a favorite genre." He had seen more movies as a gjost than when he was alive. At times he had sneaked into the theatre and got a backrow seat without anyone noticing.
