Peter wondered what was going on. Or was Jules just making excuses to get away from him again? She could've texted someone to call her while he was asleep.

She rounded the corner, and saw Trouble. Her eyes widdened and she dropped to his leg, "What happened?!" she got up and turned to her.

Peter picked up his phone and sent Jules a message. *Hope you got home safely?*

|
Her phone dinged and she poped it out, she looked and respond 'ya' and then put it back.

Peter was relieved she'd made it back but once again the reply seemed kinda dismissive and impersonal. Maybe he shouldn't have got his hopes up.

"I don't know, I walked him off the trailer and he hopped lame" Alora said and she cussed under her breath, "Ok we'll get him in a stall ok, I'll be right back" she walked off towards a tiny office in the barn that they almost never used, it just held a rusty computer and some flies, but most importantly a phone.

Peter picked up the blanket Jules had been using with a sigh before heading back to bed although he couldn't imagine getting much sleep.

She picked up the phone and dialed the vet, she spoke to her most used vet and he agreed to come over.

Peter laid there stroking Barney and wondering if he would see Jules again. He really couldn't figure her out. It probably didn't help that he wasn't feeling at his best. Maybe he was being overly sensitive.

He soon arrived and set to go over to Trouble, he felt his leg and Trouble flinched before pulling away. He stood and said, "Probably the suspensory ligament, this horse never gets injured with dressage and that injury is most common in jumpers. Did you jump him?" She but her lip "Ya we went to the BlueBerry Classic" he looked at her, "The BlueBerry Classic? That's a hard class" she sighed "Ya it was 4 star, we got second" he smiled sadly "It's probably from jumping him that high Jules but good job" she nodded sadly.
