Amber walks wearily back through the forest with the baby dragon following behind, she keeps one hand on hadafang at all times ready for a fight. "Alright little one, I have no idea where I am going but we shall do this way"

Amber eventually reaches the spot where she left Sage hours before but he was nowhere to be found, it was getting late so she climbed a tree and fell asleep clutching the baby dragon waiting for Sage's return.

He got up a few hours later, waking from a nightmare. He got on Fire Storm and lay on her back until they got back to the clearing they had been in before and she told him Amber was there. Fire Storm landed and he slid off her back. He landed with a stumble, and winced slightly, the shot sending a burst of pain up his side. He walked over to Amber slowly and poked her. "What are you doing and why do you have a baby dragon with you?" He realized he didnt have his mask on, but he was too tired and in pain to care right then.

Amber wakes up and sleepily says "Sage..? You look different..I must be imagining thing's" Amber is fully awake now "what happened to you?! You need to get that cleaned is there a river near by?"

Amber looks around a remembers the baby dragon "Oh right yeah the man I had a deal with dropped of this lil dude but I have a hunch he will use the dragon for fighting and I don't want that..would you like him? I can't keep him, I struggle with the dragons I have!"

Amber picks up the dragon and holds it out towards Sage

He picked up the baby dragon with a grunt. Fuck, that hurts. Oh well. I can deal with it...I have to. He examined the dragon as he answered Amber. "Course I can take her. Not like I do much else. And to answer your other question, I freed a bunch of dragons but got shot in the process. And to answer your other other question, yes theres a river but I already sewed myself up so I'll be fine." He glanced over at Fire Storm. "you have another dragonette to raise." She ambled over, making a happy noise. "oh, aren't you precious?" She took the baby dragon and walked away with it. Sage sat down with a grunt and leaned against the tree. Now that he didn't have a job to do, he felt nauseous from the pain and he needed to regain all the blood he had lost. He thought again about how Amber was the only other human to have seen him without his mask (besides his family of course). He absentmindedly fingered the scar that crossed his left eye as he thought, his head spinning.

Amber begins to panick slightly before looking at Fire Storm "I know you don't understand me but I need your help getting hime to the river" Amber tries to act out what she means before realising that it doesn't make sense to Fire Storm so she drew what she mean't in the dirt

"can you help me?" She pleaded

He grunted. "Really, I'm fine. I just need my damn blood to restock." He probably looked just as bad as he felt but he was used to hiding the pain, plus he didnt want to worry Fire Storm. He supposed he didnt want to worry Amber either. He found he trusted the girl- which was rare. He didnt really trust anyone except Fire Stoem since he raised her up from the time she was an infant. Fire Storm walked over and grabbed him anyway and he yelped, but he was really too tired to struggle much. Besides, it hurt to move. He huffed and let Fire Storm bring him over to the river. She dumped him in the water and gave him a grin. He pushed his wet hair out of his eyes and gave her a face. "thanks," he muttered sarcastically. "no problem", she joked back.

Rome glanced over with a disproving look to Sarah and a protectively angered glare to Kaito. She watched the mood dragon pounce on her brother, smirking, and looking to Sarah, smiling as she commented on Ryokos liking her little brother, she examined how be had grown, tilting her head. He does cuss like me though.. Thinking of their similarities.

Turning on her boot heels, she nodded, placing the plate in the sink. Turning at the question, it included her name, lightly looking the girl up and down before coming up with an answer. Her face was blank, till a glint of challenge. A small smile turned over her still pale face. "Sure, but can we stop by my camp so I can get my throwing knives?" She asked, quietly but heard. "I don't think I'm capable of wielding a bow at the moment." She offered, patting her arm and wincing. "I should stop doing that." She said, stepping out of the house to follow Sarah.

"Thank you Fire Storm!" Amber knelt beside Sage and put different herbs on his wounds before covering it. "You need a safe place to stay, you're too weak Sage" Amber looks down at her feet with her hands behind her back playing with her hands nervously

In her mind:

-why was she so concerned for him? All he has done if give her some food and she gave him a dragon..a frickin DRAGON!-

Amber begins muttering to herself "why why WHY did you say that to him?! He's not going to accept it at all, he doesn't like you as a friend, he doesn't want you as a friend!"

Amber's eyes begin to get blue-er.

He squirmed the entire time she put herbs on his wound - he wasnt used to physical contact. Plus, it hurt! It did feel better with the herbs, though, so he couldn't really complain. He grunted at her. "And what the hell would you consider a safe place? I live in the forest, Amber! I don't have a house I can just sit around in. I'm working all day - hunting is horrid here, and to eat I need to spend hours daily out looking for food. I don't have time to sit around." He stood up and winced, almost falling over but regaining his balance. "A safe place just isnt possible for me. I'll have to make due with what I have, like I've always done."
