Smaug looked at Sage confused what do you mean? Just wait for her to lay her eggs...that seems pretty simple to me!

Nymeria laughed no Smaug..that's just no..

Sage burst out laughing and had to sit down. "Smaug, humans don't lay eggs. They're mammals. They give birth to live young," he managed to gasp out. He was still blushing madly, but now he was laughing as well.

Smaug looked at Sage with a disgusted face DISGUSTING! Ewwww!!!! Nymeria and Kayda snorted laughing while Amber just stood there in confused about what was happening. Amber shook her head and brought the baby ape to a different room and entertained it.

Smaug I know you aren't the brightest but that's just a whole lotta stupidity right there Kayda gasped

Sage laughed even harder at Smaug's reaction to the information. He lay on the ground laughing for a while before he sat up and tried to catch his breath. "I think we confused Amber," he chuckled. Fire Storm laughed and nodded. "I still say we want a little Amber around." Then she grinned. "A little Amber, not a little Sage. I don't think I could handle two of you," she joked.

Amber was sweet talking to the baby ape "Aren't they silly gooses out there! Laughing their heads off at nonsense!" She laughed softly cradling the ape. He snuggled up to her and fell asleep so Amber wrapped him in a blanket and put him down beside her.

Nymeria poked her head quietly around the doorway

Look at her! She's a natural! She whispered.

Sage frowned. "A natural with animals or with kids? Because there's a difference. A big one." He had to admit she was pretty like that though, curled up like that.

Nymeria chuckled softly both! Back when she was growing up she used to go with the maids to help with her baby cousins even though her mother forbid her! I could see from the cage I was kept in..she has a kind soul Sage..and a big heart especially for animals but you, you opened up another side to her Nymeria give Sage a genuine smile of happiness

Sage chuckled lightly. "I open up another side to people all the time...it's just usually not the good side." He shrugged. "She can put up with kids. I gotta respect that - I kinda don't like 'em. much. They're loud and annoying." Most people would say it's different with your own kids. While that may be true, as of right now I am not a fan of children.

Nymeria nodded softly in agreement They can be but if she's around they are as a quiet as mice, no matter the age. She tells stories you see, that they find entertaining..I'm going to prove that to you in the morning. I suggest you get some sleep, you have a little outing ahead of you tomorrow. Goodnight Sage

Nymeria blinked and smiled softly and retreated to her room.

Amber picked up the sleeping ape and put him in a cubby hole for the night. She looked at the doorway "oh hi Sage" she said sleepily.

He simultaneously waved at Amber and yelled over his shoulder at Nymeria. "Wait, what outing?! Are you and Fire Storm plotting against me again?!" He plopped down face first on the floor. "It's time for sleep," he muttered. "These dragons use too much of my energy."
