Sage was wandering through the streets, hoping to find some food or water since he hadn't had water since yesterday and hadn't eaten anything for a few days. He heard something behind him and turned with his dagger out. There were ten armed men standing there, and he cursed before charging them. They all had the height and weight advantage since he was starving, and he knew that he needed to end the fight quickly before he tired. He broke through them after killing two and ran, but five more appeared in front of him. He fought with all his strength, but it was 15 against one, and he wasn't at his finest tight then. One of the men shot him in the neck with a tranq dart and he collapsed. Well fuck, I'm screwed. I'll just have to fight them once I wake up. If I wake up. When he woke up, he was tied up in a van. Soon the van stopped and the men grabbed him and drug him inside a building. He screamed curses and fought as best he could but it was no good.

Amber sat on a doorstep, head bent and her hands cupped in front of her when suddenly two men picked her up by her elbows and threw her in a van. She was too weak to even realise what was happening to her. Amber closed her eyes in the hope she was hallucinating, it wouldn't be the first time she has.

Sage was very annoyed. He was sore, too, because he had gotten his ass kicked trying to fight these people, but that wasn't the point. He watched the doorway intently, ready to spring into action as soon as someone walked inside. He heard movement from the corner and noticed the girl they had brought in earlier was waking up. He heard a ket turn the lock of the door to the room they were in and tensed, a low growl coming from his throat. When five men walked in he jumped up and slammed the chair into one of them, breaking the chair and knocking the guy unconscious. He charged one of the other men, using his head as a weapon since his hands were still tied behind his back. The three remaining men worked together to pull him off of the fourth one. He kicked and bit and cursed, which resulted in one of the men picking up a club and slamming it into his side. He was almost positive it broke a rib, and when he bit the hand holding the club, it came at his face. His vision went white and he collapsed. He staggered to his feet and snarled, only to be clubbed upside the head again, this one knocking him out again.

Amber didn't make a sound while the fight was happening, she stayed in the corner watching it all happen. The men completely forgot about her in the room and left.

She gets up and looks at the guy knocked out hmm broken rib, needs tending to..likes a fight although isn't the best at it sooo I must steer clear of him he's not my problem

After a while, Sage woke up again, this time with a blinding headache and biting pain in his side. He growled in annoyance and managed to stagger over to the opposite corner of where the girl was and slid down, breathing heavily. He leaned against the wall and kept a wary eye on the door, tensing up every time he heard a sound. If I die here, it would be peace. Less pain. No - I won't die here. These guys aren't getting that satisfaction. I will escape, and then I can die in my own time, my own way.

Amber sat in the dark corner terrified of the growling guy in the opposite corner to her what's his problem?!
Her eyes dart between the guy and the door, wondering who would kill her first

Sage had almost let himself sleep for a while when the door burst open and about 20 men came into the cell. He staggered to his feet, but before he could do much else, they grabbed him and the girl and brought them into a bigger room where a young woman who looked to be in her late twenties sat lounging on a chair. The men forced Sage and the girl to kneel, and he tried to twist out of it but the men held him firm. The lady got up and walked over to him, putting the tip of her riding crop under his chin and forcing his head up. He growled harshly and she smiled a cruel smile. "This one is a stubborn fighter, I see. No matter, I've broken many like him before. He'll be fun to...play with." She brought her other hand to his face, running her fingers down the side of his face and neck. He cursed at her and bit her hand, and she gasped and whipped him with her crop, leaving a thin line of blood on his cheek. "He'll calm down with no food or water for a few days," she hissed. Then she walked over to the girl. "This one seems a bit more mellow. She's being good, so I'll spare her - none of the men working for me will be given this one." She looked up at the men and waved her hand, dismissing them. "Back to the cell," she instructed them.

Amber did everything they asked of her because she knew there was no use in fighting. She saw the cut the woman had planted on the boys face Hmm yep definitely not making him my problem! The man holding onto her when bringing her back to the cell declared the other men the he would get on the woman's good side so he could have Amber to himself and then he left.

Amber never ran so quickly back to a dark corner so fast him her life not only the get away from the man but also the boy she was locked in there with

Sage slumped in the corner, clenching his fists to stop them from trembling. I'm not a toy. I'm not hers. If she tries anything with me, I will kill her. Death didn't frighten him, but what this woman was implying she was going to do to him did - not that he would ever admit that. He flopped down onto his side, grunting when the impact sent a wave of pain up his side. A few hours later, some of the men came in and gave a plate to the girl before walking out again. They took only a few seconds, and by the time Sage had registered what had happened they had already left. He glared at the door before curling up into a small ball and closing his eyes. He knew he couldn't sleep, but he could pretend at least. He might fall asleep later.

Amber reached out and snatched the plate of food left in front of her and ate half of it should I give it to him?..it? Amber looked at the boy and as quietly as a mouse she left the food in front of him and creeped quietly back he's gonna need it after all if he wants to fight them 24/7
