Amber fell asleep in the chair, the nurse came in and out a blanket on her "your lucky she brought you here..there's something about you she either trusted or liked" she said softly as to not wake Amber while giving Sage another pillow.

She left and closed the door behind her gently but then remembered Amber when she first came in, not liking the door being closed, and thought Sage might not like it either so left it ajar

Sage lay in bed a while, thinking about what the nurse had said. Something about him that Amber trusted it liked? That was a first. It was all confusing - why are they helping him? He stayed up thinking for a long time, and ended up finally falling asleep when the sun had started to rise.

Amber fidgeted in the chair and eventually woke up on the floor. The nurse came in with breakfast. She got them both crepes with Nutella, whipped cream, strawberries, sugar and lemon on the side so they could pick and choose.
Amber couldn't believe her eyes, she was ready to eat them all until the nurse raised an eyebrow at her "keep some him you gutty" she said with a soft laugh. Amber rolled her eyes, made a face and laughed "fine"

Sage made a face. "Or you could eat it all now and then you get more food later. While I also get more food. And then we both have more food." He gave a cocky grin and tossed a strawberry into his mouth from where he was pacing.

Amber threw a strawberry smothered in whipped cream at Sage "shut it" she laughed slightly.

"hey hey hey, don't play with your food!" The nurse shook her head "you're 17 not 7!"

Amber made herself a crepe packed with a bit of everything and shoved it in her mouth.

Sage grinned. "Oh, but a food fight is so fun!" He caught the strawberry and sent it back at Amber lightly, looking the nurse in the face and grinning. At the same time, he shoved more food into his mouth.

Amber chuckled "I agree". Amber drinched a crepe in lemon juice with little to no sugar and gave it to the nurse..the nurse left after that. Amber laughed slightly and went back to eating her food normally.

Sage finished eating and flopped down onto the bed. "I'm bored again." Then the alarms went off. "Huh. What's that about?" A man ran through the hallway, wielding a gun. When he saw Amber and Sage, he stopped and pointed the gun at them. "You saw nothing," he hissed. Sage grunted and leaned against the wall casually. "No, I'm pretty sure I see a lunatic with a gun trying to rob a hospital," he muttered. The man hissed and let off a shot, and Sage cocked his head to the side slightly, the bullet just barely grazing his cheek. He scowled. "Damn, if your going to fucking try and shoot me the least you can do is actually aim well." The man pointed the gun at Amber. "Fine, then I'll shoot your friend." Sage scowled again. "She's not really a friend." Then he shrugged. "But you still can't shoot her." He walked over to Amber and stepped between her and the gun with a cocky grin. "You wanna shoot me? Go ahead." The man let off a shot, which missed Sage by about an inch. He knew the guy would miss, so he wasn't worried. He nodded. "Ok, my turn." Before the man could even blink, Sage had unsheathed his dagger and chucked it at the man, burying the blade into his heart. Sage walked over and grabbed his dagger, wiping it off on his pant leg. "Well that was at least a little exciting," he muttered to himself.

Amber just sat in chair calmly watching it all unfold, not really taking in what just happened.

Amber disarmed Sage pretty easily and looked at the dagger "cool dagger..where'd you steal it from?" She asked with a smirk

Sage snorted. "I actually didn't steal this one - I made it. This I stole." He yanked a huge longsword out from where he was hiding it with a grin. "I don't remember where I stole it from, but it was some big fancy place." He shrugged. "They have more."
