This is Raven, she was a surprise from her dam Ash and her mother always hated her for being born. Her father Flame never was around because he left the herd after she was born as he was embarassed, after a few months of life Ash would start telling things that you should never tell your kid, she would tell her shes ugly, worthless, and all around a big mistake and as you can imagine Raven would be self-conscious all the time feeling she wasn't good enough for anyone. Now 5 years old and damaged with a foal(Cisco) of her own on account from her ex-mate, she protects this foal with her life. She tries to do the right thing with him but since she wasn't raised right she made a lot of mistakes with Cisco. Raven is very small barely standing 15hh and gets picked on a lot by her size.

Zeil

He looks Arabian but is definitely not purebred

Sturdy but skinny, height: 16.2 Hh, weight: 1,000 lbs. His coat is mahogany bay with a few Sabino-ish markings, four knee stockings, a blaze, and roan(I'll get a pic soon). His body portrays the shape of an Arabian, long legs, thin and penciled neck, wedged face and high raised tail, but out in the wild, nothing is purebred.

He has multiple scars around his body mostly to his flanks and chest, the biggest one is 2 inches long.

Zeil is stubborn, he is serious he has an "I will get whatever I want and finish whatever I started." Attitude for the most part. He is cold and scary feeling, he will take mares that he has an eye on from the herd, though he ends up bringing them back usually, as he dislikes having to deal with them. He doesn't like foals but he has sired many foals, many a mare who came in contact with him, ended up withfoal. Some he respected enough to not.

A time ago, he had a herd, his blood was in every single foal born, then his herd was taken from him by a band of bachelors, leaving him herdless, with new scars.

Zeil had been traveling for nearly two weeks to get to the open lands of which he had just arrived, he hoped that he might find some sense of peace by coming to his birth lands. He had been rather agitated as of lately, he was becoming more and more agitated by the fact that he had no clue why. I feel so.. aggrivated.

Zeil was incredibly dissatisfied with the result of his long trek, he felt himself getting worked up. Feuding with himself, he wanted an answer. He kicked himself into a canter, pulling himself deeper into the plains, he felt more and more relaxed with ever hoofbeat.

After a while, he realized the grass was thicker, even some bushes were near, and about 20 times the amount of trees there were hours ago. He had no issue with traveling, the new place made him wary. He could feel new presences, nearby, that made him curious, he examined the area. It seemed peaceful enough for him to stay for a small amount of time.

Raven followed behind the herd in a slow, steady pace while Cisco fooled around with the others. Her legs ached from walking for so long, she knew she was hungry but she didn't want to eat from worrying she would get to fat and be made fun of more. Her muzzle dropped a few inches, brushing aganist the grass but she held herself back wishing they would stop soon. The herd picked up to a faster but rocky canter to the lake but Raven stayed behind even when Cisco galloped along side them.

Zeil heard a small amount of noise coming from an area that sounded way beneath him, he couldn't make out voices from hoodbeats. As he picked himself further into the forest, and closer to the indistinguishable sound.

The noises became louder, then he came upon a shallow ravine, he looked down to see a large-ish herd that was at most 50 feet below him. He quickly picked out that a mare was struggling to keep up, and he noticed a colt who was extremely excited and swas running up the sides of the herd. He watched as they past, the he followed, still at the top of the cliff thing that he was walking on.

Raven layed near the lake while the herd grazed in the long grass, Cisco jumped into the lake with his friends, she was trying to sleep but Cisco and his friends kept splashing her and others. Raven got fed up and snapped at Cisco out of angry, "Stop that!" she yelled at him.

I'm going to edit his bio, that way it would fit if he took her from the herd.

Zeil stopped along with the herd as it stopped, reaching it's destination, which was the lake, a large pool of surprisingly shallow water. That is, the deepest places were 30 feet deep, it stretched out over a mile, making a wide figure eight.

He was just as surprised as the foal who got yelled at was, when the leopard mare bursted. The colt looked young, barely a year old, if that, at least that's what he could see. He noticed similar looks between them, he assumed mother and son, he decided to go down, seeing a dip alongside the very clear, barely blue tinted lake.
