haha no, it's 1500. Get that FR farm up and running. And you're right! It's a really nice financial buffer for ROs when you get carried away lol

I wanna have enough geldings to where i dont have to have the PPP/PEP mares with riders and showing/training. That gets way too expensive lol. All my showing usually goes to at least one sven and a nice brood. and so far. Every. Fucking. One. Has failed. So. I keep trying LOL. The FR farming will be for that damned quest and then the lovely RO nights where... i spend too much on breeding and then dont enter shows or pay riders. And im fucked for the next 2 months lol. Thats happened before and i try to never let it happen again

There. Upgraded that barn. Now to yeet some geldings in.

The money from showing that I normally earn strictly goes towards rider fees and more barns

Do it! I 10/10 recommend FR farming! I invested in it when I realized I'd be hitting the show cap soon. And I don't have a profitable breeding program to fall back on. And the nice part is that every RO I get several surprise hundreds of thousands of ebs that I can then throw away on breeding :)

Soon i hope to have enough space to be able to FR farm a little for some extra cash. I usually get 200 shit foals every year that dont meet the standards. I even had to start culling some of the PPP fillies if they didnt have color cause i was running out of space x)

I'm actually really glad you said that. I've hoarded so many PPP mares and I'm trying to figure out if I want to do a sweeping cull to FR or keep them or what. I'll probably just check their production if you've found that it pays off

If you collect all the pictures in a set you get a decoration for your horse.

How often does everyone add new horses to their breeding stock? I'm just curious, as to right now, I'm deciding whether or not I should add more horses, just to give my breeding some variety. Thoughts?

Thanks everyone :)

I check the auction house fairly often for good mares. I'm really picky, though, and I only get 2-5 per season.

Several times a week, occasionally daily. I don't want to miss something that could really help me out.

I'm extremely picky about buying horses, I think I've only bought one horse in the last 5 months or so, a horse I don't even have still. If I want to add new blood to my stock, I typically will save for a good brood, as they usually turn out better than any horse I've ever bought.

What's your breeding goal? I think the answer to your question really depends on where you're at in the game and where you'd like to go. If it's to make LBs/ABLBs, that's mine too and I rarely buy anything because it's just not the quality I am wanting. I got my ABLB horses by starting a gelding army, saving for a brood to a really spectacular ABLB hopeful, and svenning her. ABLB broods are way, way cheaper nowadays. More people should be stalking the brood forum :)
