Sophia is not only pretty, but she has the stable pretty mind of her mom. I would have to have her started under saddle but I have a bunch of trainers for that lol

I hope so too! We have about 5 mares going to foal this coming year, including a potential stud. His parents are both double registered so I have high hopes for him

Where can we find the foal's height when it's grown? Is it under Lens of Time?

Sometimes I prefer to take roads I'm familiar with instead of roads that are more direct.

I have done endurance in the past. I am considering doing it again but for now I just ride for fun :)

There's easily a half dozen different streets that could have been taken that didn't require hopping on the highway and going that far south.

How often does everyone add new horses to their breeding stock? I'm just curious, as to right now, I'm deciding whether or not I should add more horses, just to give my breeding some variety. Thoughts?

Thanks everyone :)

I check the auction house fairly often for good mares. I'm really picky, though, and I only get 2-5 per season.

Several times a week, occasionally daily. I don't want to miss something that could really help me out.

I'm extremely picky about buying horses, I think I've only bought one horse in the last 5 months or so, a horse I don't even have still. If I want to add new blood to my stock, I typically will save for a good brood, as they usually turn out better than any horse I've ever bought.

What's your breeding goal? I think the answer to your question really depends on where you're at in the game and where you'd like to go. If it's to make LBs/ABLBs, that's mine too and I rarely buy anything because it's just not the quality I am wanting. I got my ABLB horses by starting a gelding army, saving for a brood to a really spectacular ABLB hopeful, and svenning her. ABLB broods are way, way cheaper nowadays. More people should be stalking the brood forum :)

This ^^

What I do:

I start with the strongest MARES I can find that I can afford. Once I get those mares, I send them to the higest ABLB or breed specific LB stallion I can afford. Do the same for the foal, rinse, and repeat.

Dont forget to cull weak stock, too much weak stock can drag down your entire program if you're not carefil :D

I buy approximately 2 horses every day! But I’m a colour breeder, so I guess I can’t help but love all amazing horses. I also breed at least 1 horse every day and spend more money than I gain. I add new horses to bring more variety and colour, but you probably don’t need this advice.
