The early days of the internet were wild. I will say it was a little different because we didn't have Google. We had to type in addresses to see if it went anywhere. It's also the wild days of html and the reason I have the career I do
...I got my first official phone on my seventeenth birthday because my parents physically could not keep me from having a phone any longer. I can't imagine being allowed to have a phone before at least thirteen. I had books and projects and at night, my dad would let me play a game on his phone when I was younger. Maybe I'm just prudish though.
Grape Luckily when I WAS nine, my mom didn't have to worry about that. I had a phone at 5 or 6. But my mom made sure the put parental controls on it and I did have youtube, but once again there was a lot of stuff restricted. Now that I'm older I don't have to worry about that.
Yeah. I have mixed feelings on the internet. Maybe because there is a lack of control over it and anyone could really be anything behind the screen. Not hard to lie nowadays. There was an online game a while back and a little girl almost got kidnapped because she gave away her info. And there are people who have been kidnapped because of that. I feel kids should be better educated about it and supervised
Ugh. Well Vetta I actually own 38746 horses, I breed unicorns, and I actually am half mermaid half wolf. I have the power of everything and trained 17094 wild horses with my special bond 😤
I guess the issue is that you can talk to ANYONE on social media. So if you say something like "hey, I'm nine" you're gonna get gross people with ill intent and if you ARE nine, you won't know better than to block and ignore. I don't know why kids are allowed phones at such a young age. You can be smart enough to get through parental controls and naive enough to need them at the same time
