PSA: hey guys sorry no recent updates have come out. My barn closed so I am not allowed to see Echo or spike until this quarantine thing is over. Echo is still being worked by my trainer and her husband and they are both still being cared for but as soon as I am allowed to go see her again I will post an update. Make sure to stay safe everyone! Edited at March 27, 2020 06:35 AM by Hopeful Hollows

That's terrible! I hope you see her soon. Echo is so pretty. She reminds me of my mare I used to own. I had to sell her as a broodmares at 5 because of a stifle injury. 😢. Good luck with Echo.

Update 17 Hey guys I'm back! Sorry it's been awhile but a lot has happened. Echo has been coming along so well, she has had about 7-10 rides under saddle and today I cantered her for the first time! She did so good I was so proud of her and she even picked up the right leads. She also has gotten so much better at showmanship and in hand trail she sets up, backs, ground ties, side passes, and goes over the bridge without hesitation. I can't wait to continue my incredible journey with her and her training, next show season is going to be good. I also have some updates of spike and Reggie. Spike has been a good boy not much changed with him but my lease on him ends next month after our last show I'm sad but now he will be able to teach his next rider a lot. Also You are probably wondering who Reggie is well, he is a 2 year old brown and white paint mini who was rescued. He was very neglected and scared of people I instantly felt bad for him and volunteered to work with him. I've been working with him for about 5 days and he went from running away from me to coming right up to me. He lets me pet him, groom him, and today he let me put a halter on him and lead him around. I did some simple walk stop and backing with him to see how he responded and he picked it up really fast. He was being super good so I took him outside and played around with him and I thought I would introduce the bridge to him by letting him sniff it. He didn't seem to mind the bridge and so I tried to see if he would follow me on it and he did he's going to make a great little mini!

Update 18 Hey everyone! I have a lot of updates again. Reggie the paint mini I was training got bought by a really nice young girl and It could not have been a better fit for him. As for Spike we finished out so strong at our last show I was so proud of him but after that show my lease with him came to an end. It was really sad but now I can focus all of my time to Echo. We have our first off the property show in a few weeks and I am super excited. We are just going to enter in hand classes unless she is being really good then we might enter green horse walk/jog. She is such a good girl the other week I could her over the bridge with me riding her and she went right over it I also rode her in one of our outside arenas.
