All I came across was a few drunk drivers.

I was very lucky and my foreman lived on-site

Ah yuck 😬😬
We had to worry about cattle theives. Which we where always told not to engage if someone strange was coming.
Which is it such an eerie feeling watching a pair of headlights up come the drive. And knowing your not expecting anyone to come by

Nope I'll pass on all of that. It was one of my first jobs so everyone looked out for me. Thankfully nothing bad happened in that area. I have tomorrow off but not for anything fun. Gotta love root canals xD

When I worked at the college bookstore
I would have security walk me out to my vehicle.
That's so scary
Not even pepper spray or anything.

Ah we weren't allowed to be armed in any shape or form, if you have a weapon on you during work hours you best hope the manager didn't find out or else it was automatic termination, we actually had a woman get attacked in our parking lot one night, scary 😬

Ok I can understand that then. We have them across the street and we hear them at night but we don't see them.

Second that, can't believe I stayed as long as I did at my first as a second to third shift waitress, the stuff I saw go down as young I was, us girls not being able to walk outside by ourselves once the sun set should have been my warning lmao

I worked graveyard shift at a cattle sale barn.
Feed crew.
I would be just as busy during the night as a day a shift.
And then the pack of coyotes that ran through the yard. That's always fun 🙄

Just a tip from a rider who herself has gone through a number of dips in confidence. Give yourself time, try have a person you trust (more experienced rider or instructor) that can encourage you with you when you ride.
I've had two really big dips in my confidence with my riding and with both dips it helped that I had (or changed to) instructors that encouraged me and knew how to push me out of my comfort zone just enough to build my confidence. Try and put a neck strap on when you ride in english tack, mentally it helps to just know you have that safety net.
Take it slow, start just walking. If you have access to a lunge ring try riding in there at first and slowly build it up. This may sound stupid but don't forget to keep your shoulders back, heels relaxed and BREATH. Talk to your horse or if you don't get embarrased easily sing, talking and singing actually forces you to breath.
