My cat Pepper was tragically hit by a car and died Jan 11th. It was also my birthday so it really sucked to lose such an amazing companion on what should've been a day to celebrate. However, I've been given the opportunity to give another cat a home, but my heart is being pulled in every which way. Either Thursday night or Friday, I'll be going back to the shelter and coming back home with a kitty. I need some help deciding though. When I visited today, pretty much every cat took a liking to me. I'm touched, but that doesn't help me narrow down my pick. I've narrowed down my options to 6 cats, but I can only take one. I've posted pics below and made notes of each. Which one do you think I should take? 
Very handsome, sleek, and almost regal looking. He was very friendly and kept pawing through the wire to get my attention.
So sweet and very beautiful. I like how photogenic she is. Pepper was very photogenic too.
I'm not sure if she's blind in the one eye or just has an infection. The shelter was very busy so I didn't get a chance to ask. See the way she tilted her head? Pepper did that too.
At first glance, I thought he was just a grumpy old grouch, but when I stuck a finger through the wire to pet him, he playfully rolled over and started batting at my finger.
She looks so much like Pepper they could be litter mates!
Don't let grumpy cat fool you. He was all over me. Happy, talkative, purring up a storm... Lol!
***Drake and Tahj are not fixed, but I think the shelter will get them fixed for me. I don't know for sure though.***

While I love what Stormsong said, pick the one that you have HAD to tell everyone about. The one that made the biggest impression on you. My last kitty just kept creeping into the conversation and I knew from that she was the ONE. |
