*Em - makes her skin crawl, but she can appreciate the affection behind it. She enjoys when people call her Emily, or have unique nicknames for her.
Nationality: /technically/ she's British and German, but she really doesn't know anyone on the British side of her family since her mom was a very small part of her life for so long. So she really just claims the German.

Do they like their birth city: She literally has not been there since she was four, so she doesn't really know. She doesn't really want to open up the can of worms, but has left the door open that one day she may meet her mom's family and explore there.
How long did he/she live there: She lived from birth to when she was four, when her dad took her away to live in Germany.
Did they have a happy childhood: No is the short answer. She found a lot of joy in her best friend Riley up until recently, and in skating.
Middle School: She went to a private school that prepares students to become doctors from an early age.
Describe their middle school experience:
Emily was very popular in middle school. She thrived on the social attention and was very happy. This was also when she befriended Riley, her childhood best friend and rock of many years.
High School: Continued going to this private school, and very much enjoyed it, despite only her father's aspirations pushing her to be a doctor. She never rebuked it because she wanted to stay with her best friends.
Describe their high school experience: As mentioned above, her popularity only increased, and everyone knew and loved her. She had a lot of male attention and female.
College: Beste University
Describe their college experience: Emily studied pre-law in college and ended up valedictorian of her class, not because she wanted to be, but because of her father's tight reign over her entire life. She would have been happy to just be an average A student, but ended up with a near-perfect GPA [and increasing amounts of depression and anxiety]
Do they play any sports/did they play any in school: Emily figure skated competitively for a very long time, even going as far as to qualify for the Olympics. She suffered a terrible injury and took some time to wallow in that, but in college she fell in love with Riverwild Equestrian Center and became an equestrian, though she never has had the same passion for riding as she did skating.
Mother's Name: Emisa Blount
Relationship with mother: She remembers her mother being very, very kind and loving towards her, but Emisa was ripped away from Emily when Emily was four, leaving a huge hole for the young girl. Her mother was imprisoned and died in the prison, which was later discovered to be a false conviction set up by her father's blackmail. Her death was also arranged by him.
Father's Name: Dane Lachlan
Relationship with father: Being a world-renowned cardiovascular surgeon, Dane was almost never home to care for Emily, but it was almost better that way. He reigned with an iron fist, and never had her best interests at heart. He took a lot away from her, including her happiness, and their relationship was further isolated when he married her best friend and boyfriend, Riley's, mom when they were around seventeen. That scarred her indefinitely, and has thus caused her to never forgive him.

Relationship with best friend: Extremely close, they dated for several years and definitely only grew apart because of what their parents did to them. Riley was also her skating partner, and they did almost everything together. Wherever one was, the other was close by. This continued until Riley got married when they were around 21, right after college ended. This broke Emily, and the dysfunction only increased.
Happiest memory of childhood: Qualifying for the Olympics with Riley.
Most traumatic incident of childhood: Either her mother being ripped away from her, or the time a burglar broke into their mansion when her dad was away and she thought she was going to die.
