No, exploring has no effect on a horse's eventing training.

Is there a better way to figure out which encouragement your horse prefers than to just count it out and see which offers more frequent success? If not is there a number of tries that is the best indicator?

Personally I go by what the prompt says, if the horse sounds like it's going to refuse, something like "eyes widen" then I use one of the stronger cues, otherwise I just nudge. So far this has worked really well for my fully trained horses.

Sorry if this has been asked... I didn't go through all eight pages. Is there any sort of statistic of how likely you are to get a map if you make it 50 moves without a spook? Is it just random? Is it a 50/50 chance? Thanks!

Hi, just wondering, whenever I try and take a picture of something I never can? Is this to do with bravery ratings or?

I keep a list of the areas and what option they spook or don't spook on. It is working well with a WC non-trained mare I have.

I just joined, and got the quest "breed foal with premium rating". I have no idea how to do this 😅. Could you give me a quick tutorial or explanation on it? Edited at November 19, 2022 05:28 PM by Bluejays Meadows
