Sage grunted. "You'd better get out of here. This place isn't exactly for rich little princesses who think they're entitled to a good life." He turned and began to walk back where he came from, hoping to find something to eat this day. At least this didn't take a lot of time. I wonder why she's here. Oh well. It's better that she's going. He fingered his dagger, not liking how many people were in the area. He moved back into the shadows, seeking the familiar feel. He knew his hair covered his eyes well, so the men and girl only saw his jaw and some of his nose, so he wasn't worried about them recognizing him if he came across them again

"for the record im not some princess!" she snapped and saw the rip in her jeans "not again! great now im going to have to stitch them up before mom gets back" she sighed and dropped her bag of fast food on the ground and winked"Since im an entitled to a good life I won't need this" she turned to see her bodyguard there"miss its time to go clean the stalls out" he nodded and walked back"Yes yes I know give me some time with my.....friend" she shooed him off and they were left alone, "if you ever need anything just come to this place" she sent a note in the bag 1987 moonwalk drive(random street XD)"Just note that if you see me in a dress and laugh I may have to .....cut your throat" she said it in a cheery tone making it clear it was a joke"seriously they think I can fight in a dress?!?! they fuck around with the mafia type and shady people and think i can fight!?" she realised she was ranting and turned to leave"there is enough food in there for a couple days,and enough money to buy anything needed, I know 100 dollars is alot but honestly I work for a reason" with that she turned and left

Sage was baffled. She had left food and money behind on purpose. She had called him a friend and had been nice even though he was rude to her. Is that what it feels like to have someone be nice? What it feels like to have an interaction with a human who isn't trying to kill me over an apple core? He was hesitant to touch the food at first, as it could be a trap. But he realized she hadn't known he was there, so a trap wasn't possible. He took an apple out of the bag and hid the rest, not wanting it to be stolen. He hung around the place he had hidden the food for the rest of the day, and then settled down for some sleep. He knew he would wake up from nightmares, the same, as he did every night, but he hoped he could at least get 5 hours of sleep tonight.

She turned back to the same ally after hours hoping to get some peace and wanted to find the guy again, sensing he was nearby but not wanting to reveal him, she dropped a sleepingbag not much but it can easily be packed away and a knife sharpener and smiled as she rememberd him twirling the dagger through his fingers

Seeing the girl again, he spoke out from where he was sitting in the shadows, not realizing why he did so. "Why are you helping me?" The question came out rougher than he would have liked but after years of living on the streets, he had hardened himself.

"because you need it" she looked around"and I need to get out" she snorted"they think I want to plan parties, all I want to plan is my sleep schedule" she let out sigh and turned to him"may I ask who you are?" she felt that making conversation would be good

He stood up and sighed. "Sage." He looked closer at the girl. "And listen, princess, if planning parties is the bad in your life right now, I say you've got it pretty good."

(I think i'll have him call her Princess as a nickname haha. Kinda starts off as rude but once they like each other it'll be more friendly)

"no the only bad is im forced to marry some guy who is old enough to be my father only because he can shoot a gun and get money from people" she sighed and laid back looking at the sky"anddd thats another hour of having to wash my hair"she rolled her eyes and started speaking in a squeaky voice"sara your hair is filthy you better clense that hair or else your mother will hear about this" she snorted and turned over to stare at him"sara, im sara" she realised she was staring into the distance

He snorted. "ok, yeah that's not fun. And what's so good about shooting a gun? I mean...out here something made for close physical fighting is more useful." He walked out of the shadows towards the girl, sensing he could trust her. "Is it even a good gun? And can he even aim? This just makes no sense. People are dumb". Then he looked at the girl. "Your mother would probably freak if she sees the people's hair out here," he chuckled. Did I just laugh? I haven't done that in....years. He sat down next to the girl. Feeling at ease enough to not be on guard all the time must be nice.

she noticed he got closer"sometimes life is a jerk isn't it" she sighed and looked at her phone"good thing I made sure she can't text me" she eyed sage up and down"fighting for your life everyday is difficult isn't it..." she stared at him wondering just how long he has suffered out here,she realized she was staring at him and snapped her head away and studied her nails"to dull,funny enough I like having nails,good for scratching people who drive you nuts"
