Oh God..... Adrien sucked in a deep breath and stabbed his tail through Sage's heart. He then pulled Sage close to him and hugged him. He knew Sage wasn't dead dead, but that didn't stop a few tears from running down his face. He was now dangerously close to throwing up..... He buried his head into the crook of Sages neck. He felt he couldn't speak, in fear of puking....

Sage stiffened slightly when he felt the sharp pain in his chest, but had enough effort to take Adrien's head in his hands and place a gentle kiss to his lips in hopes of making the other boy feel better about it all. After that, he sort of slumped down in his arms as his breath rattled in his chest and then stopped as his eyes fluttered closed.

Adrien held Sage's body in his arms for a good while, until he couldn't any longer and stood up, going to sit in the bathroom. He was sitting on the floor, his head swimming dangerously. He took a few shaky breathes and stared at the white tile of the wall.

Sages body eventually faded away from where he was laying on the couch, and he woke up in the regeneration room, the demons working on his body like they always did. It wasn't a comfortable process, but he did snap at them to hurry up a few times. He wanted to get back to Adrien. And he did, after a few days worth of time.

Adrien had barely moved since he had to kill Sage. He was sitting on the bathroom floor again, staring at the wall, eye's unfocused. He had barely eaten anything and hadn't done much. Many might say he was overreacting, but how would you feel if you had to kill the one you loved or watch them suffer? Exactly.... not fun.

Sage woke up in the woods outside Adrien's house. He blinked a few times as he sat up, trying to focus his head a bit. As soon as he could, he scrambled for the house, sliding in, suddenly nervous. What would Adrien think? Where was he? What would happen? He found him soon enough though, and paused in the doorway of the bathroom. "Adrien," he asked, half in a squeak.

Adrien barely heard Sage but he managed. "Oh thank God...." He mutters, seeing that Sage wasn't hurt anymore. Him on the other hand.... was not totally unscathed. Physichally? Fine. Mentally? Not so much.

Sage felt his shoulders relax slightly and he moved to plop down next to Adrien and wrap his arms around him in a big hug. He was admittedly smaller than the other boy, so it wasn't probably very big to him....but he was trying. "It worked," he chirped with a sort of laugh/sob, just glad to be back. He buried his head in the crook of Adrien's neck, just wanting them both to be ok. "Thank you," he added after a moment, releasing him but staying curled up against his side.

"Mhm." He hums. He felt bile rise in his throat from not eating much and the stress. He moved to the toilet and threw up before setting himself back down, on the cold tiles. "Ugh.* He groaned, rubbing his head.

Sage frowned slightly but moved to run his back gently before sighing and standing up, offering Adrien his hands. "Come on, let's get you fixed up now," he humemd gently, honestly feeling a bit bad about it all.
