Salem placed the rabbit down at the males feet and took a respectful step back. It took everything out of him not to stand tall and push the male back? But he knew he chouldnt do that. With a glance at Nisha, and a deep breath he spoke. "Without something to die for I have nothing to live for" he stated bluntly. He mentally kicked himself. That was way too deep for the first words to a the alpha. "A life alone isn't a life I want to live." He offered. "I don't expect to be high up or get privileges. I can earn my keep, I can hunt and patrol, and do the things no one wants to do. I can be the omega, and I can earn it if you'll let me" Salem hated sounding like he was begging. He hated that he was so reliant on the males answer. But he would get used to it if he was allowed to stay.

Nisha looked at her brother her tail wagging a bit then she looked back at Salem as she listened to them talk. Lark looked down at the rabbit then back at the male. he thought for a moment looking back at his mate seeing her nod a bit he looked at Salem again. "Nisha brought you here she will show you around, but so help me if you touch one hair on her" he growls "your done, I will give you a job in two days if you can behave. am i understood?" he spoke confidently

Salem's tail wagged and he looked at Nisha with an excited glance. "Yes of course alpha. Thank you!" He dipped his head and slowly made his way to Nisha. He was about to lick her muzzle, then remembered what lark had said. "And thank you for bringing me here. I wouldn't have been able to join without your.." he looked briefly at the rabbit "help"

Lark watched for a moment then went back to his mate laying down with her after picking up the rabbit. Nisha giggled softly "no problem, come on ill show you around" she smiled and walked down towards the pack.

Salem followed her, this time more confidently. His head was up and his eyes were bright. His tail swayed excitedly as he stayed close to her side, a new sense of fondness for her since she helped him get into the pack. He knew he wouldn't be much more than an omega for a while but that was fine with him.

"now each job has their own den" she spoke "the hunters stay near the trees, the patrollers stay near those large rocks, the medics are over there closer to the hunters, the warriors are located near the Patrollers, and the nursery where the pups stay is located in the center of the pack for extra protection." she looks at him "which role are you wanting? I'm a nursery mother and the only beta... I don't have pups of my own nor do I have a mate because as you could probably already tell, my brother is a little overprotective.." she huffs softly.

|
|

|
He listened carefully to all of her words, making mental notes of where each den was and who belonged where. He thought for a moment. He loved pups, they made him happy, but he probably wouldn't fit in with the other nursery wolves, them being all females and such. He shrugged lightly. "I can fight well, maybe a warrior or a patroller?" He asked carefully. "Though I do know a thing or two about healing" he added. "I don't mind where I'm placed, I can adapt to where in needed"

"thats good to hear, We have some patrollers and hunters that are females but they have recently had pups and they need rest so weve been trying to move members around its not working very well" she looked back at him " is there anything you would like to see?" she asked

He nodded then responded. "Both of those jobs require me to know the territory, if you have time could you show me the border? And I can figure life out from there" he chuckled lightly. Once he knew the territory he would be able to patrol it and hunt on it whenever needed. Another thought crossed his mind "do I go out with a group to patrol and hunt? Or do I go out on my own?" It was going to take time for this loner to adjust to pack life. But he was going to give it his best.

"i can show you the border, and the pack hunts and patrols together in their assigned groups," she said as she walked out of the pack area to show him the territory.
